Hey man, I know its been a while since you've uploaded and I know You're still active. You need to do more my guy. If you're in a bad place , keep your head up and keep going. You're such a good guitar player and you inspired me to pick my guitar back up a few years ago (I'm 20 now and I started playing at 14 and either 16 or 17 is when I started back into playing). I mean hey, we can do a collab on a song when I get all the equipment (I only have a phone no PC😂😭). I'm only a rhythmist. I sometimes come back and rewatch your covers. But anyways, I hope You're doing well man \m/

More Metallica would be an obvious suggestion seeing as you still haven't conquered my favorite Metallica song, the incredible Orion but maybe even some other bands? I don't know what your exact tastes are but are you a fan of Megadeth? I see the Peace Sells album as a thrash classic and someone with your talent could seriously do it some justice in a cover.

Kyler Wilmoth damn dude, it was actually Orion or this, and this track won out. Only because if I do Orion I'd like to give the bass a go too, but not butcher it haha. You know what, I'm not the biggest Megadeth fan, there's a couple tracks for me that are killer, thanks for the idea man I'll see what I can do!!

If you did the bass for Orion I would have to bow down to you as my superior for eternity. As a seventeen year old kid these really do help motivate me to play longer each day and just try to reach the levels of perfection that you have; seriously man, great stuff.

People shit on the production and the whole no bass thing too much. I agree completely that the album probably would have come across a whole lot bigger if the bass was turned up, but to me it's just part of its charm. There where reasons for James to go ahead with barely any bass, I guess they kind of did it for Cliff in a way. The album is raw and angry and honest, innovative and progressive and the almost bare bones production just adds to what they were feeling going forward without Cliff.

I feel like the drums really make up for the lack of bass in a big way. People can hate on Lars however much they want but he kicked ass on AJFA.

Hey man! You helped me pick out this guitar years ago, and I gotta ask, how is yours holding up? My frets are popping out, my tone nob doesnt work, my neck pickup went out and the QC was pretty "eh" outside the box. Is yours holding up okay? I wan't to maybe pick up a second if I was just unlucky.

Oh damn that's cool as man. That's a shame to hear, Unfortunately I sold mine to fund some other things a couple of years ago so I couldn't tell you. It was fine while I had it though, but I definitely would say maybe there were 'QC' issues? It felt just a little bit cheap at times but it was OK for a Mid Range guitar. Actually my favourite guitar I've owned was also an explorer, Dean Z '79. Same price point at least back then. That thing was phenomenal. My next wish list guitar will be a Solar by Ola Englund.

For the recording there is only ever one guitar playing apart from the harmonies which were layered. In terms of actually recorded - at least 5 takes 😋

Explains lol, I have the black version of this but I just picked up on playing almost 2 years ago, I don't really know much about this kind of stuff. Just buy new strings when old ones get rusty and new amp chord when it breaks
