Pre ordered it, not gonna play it day 1 though, i do have some curiosity, will the post game/epilogue have a time limit or will it be endless like smt? Will it have multiple versions of the same spells? I know there's reference archetypes such as devil summoner, after all.

I just pre ordered the steelbook edition from Amazon but it's coming on Saturday man. I could've even picked it up from a shop on my way home from school and immediately started playing. Guess I'll have to wait a day but I'm still super excited

I think FFVII rebirth would be my game of the year if I could just accept the fact that the mini games are .. optional. I don’t have to do them, but i’m a completion-ist at the same time so that cactuar crush can go fuck it self. lmao. No seriously it’s a great game, but I think this one (Metaphor) will top it. I have up to 32 hours in the demo. Granted I did restart once, but still that’s a lot of play time for a demo.

I don't mind the no romance thing iam interested to know though if theres gonna be something similiar to a baton pass or shift

There isn't a baton pass, but you can yield your turn. If you yield, it will automatically go to the next party member (can't choose who) and takes half of your turn. Hitting a crit or a weakness also takes half a turn, so if you yield and have half a turn, it means you won't get a "1 more" if you hit a crit/weak during said turn. A little hard to explain but I hope you still understand 👍

These Low scores clearly show that these game journalists have absolutely no idea what the hell Artistic vision is. They don't understand that this is yet again ANOTHER SMT game but with a new setting and new world. They do not understand how important this game is going to be for Atlus and how it shows that you can offer the players the exact type of experience they want, but in THE setting that the devs want to create. Just like Myazaki at From Software, the man is hella tired of making Dark Souls games, but yet they created Elden Ring, I see no one complaining about the fact that this is just another Dark Souls but in a different setting.

Straight up! I think these lower review scores miss the point here. The constant focusing on the other Atlus properties blocks them from seeing how unique this game is. There's a lot of SMT and Persona DNA here, but they only serve to elevate the game rather than blindly reusing older ideas

Interesting! I initially tried the PS5 demo because I like to laze around on my couch to play JRPGs, but the frame rate and jitter problem made it impossible for me to enjoy it. So I decided to try the PC version since I have a 4090, and it was smooth as butter. I instantly cancelled my PS5 preorder and grabbed the Steam version. Hopefully I don't run into the same issues as people are reporting (and that Atlus acknowledged)....but I'm definitely kind of concerned now :(

I still don't agree with that take on romance not being important when trying to become king however he could have just said that it's not this characters primary focus right now and I woulda been like... alright cool... x-x

Maybe because Atlus knew some people would demand woke stuff, and they don’t have the time to deal with those things that would potentially overcomplicate the game, and also it’s a good way to avoid the woke industry that would harm their masterpiece
