I'm sorry but I loved Re Village. It was scary but supper fun. If u want survival than play it on Hardcore!! My only complaint is house Benaviento, it was weak after the second or more play threws. If they wanna go more scary that's fine but please it fun. I like busting off weapons in games and in real life, so keep it dope!!!
I would still make a P5 game, I was right about one that starts with T and I don't mean Phantom X.. given that at the end of Royal there are several unsolved mysteries
RE9 open world...🤢 way to ruin another franchise with it! I remember they went from classic survival horror to Action horror 4,5 and 6...effectively killing the franchise then taking steps to return to basics with 7 and 8. Resident Evil is a linear survival horror game 12-15 hours, if they change that to an open-world game, they are repeating their past mistakes imo. Don't bite the hand that feed you and never create a product nobody asked for, dont betray your original fanbase just to expand to wider.
I’m not sure how I feel about Kratos visiting Japan. I don’t really like when western developers or creators try to adapt Japanese culture. I think Egyptian would be the most exciting place to go next. I can imagine fights with mummies, puzzles in tombs, Athena weaseling her way into the Egyptian Parthenon returning as the Egyptian goddess Athena, the god of chaos Set as a major villain, those amazing looking animal gods as bosses.
I'm not sure an open world RE would work. Part of the charm for RE games is that they're more "compact". And you're forced to survive with limited resources. In an open world, they would have to add mechanics to compensate for the larger scale. Not to mention the potential for the "bloat" specific to the typical open world experience.
I'm not sure about Metaphor. I will play it and I did enjoy the demo but some of the fantasy elements are a huge turnoff-- I was hoping the game wouldn't feel like a final fantasy game and in some ways it leans too heavy into the fantasy theme. The tutorial stuff was a little too in your face-- it didn't feel natural like with P5 where after hour 30 you were still being fed information about elements of the game as part of the story. I also do not care about ANY of the characters or the story which is a shame and will hopefully change later on. I just don't get fantasy. I want this to be DDS re-imagined (and you heard it here first-- the twist will be very similar) but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
Were talking about future of residwnt evil imagine after 50 years of 100 years after what do you think. Do you think the resident evil characters are still alive. This means that it needs a new characters new people new places. But I hope the character would be leon, claire, ada look alikes lets be real here we want the characters to look stunningly gorgeous we also crave for more women characters in gaming. Because women are definitely eye catching for the players out. Third person shooter is definitely a go, because women attract gamers lets be real here.
I wonder if the leaks factor into the mascot of the game or will there be two mascots or a shared one? This Is an odd idea but there’s a line I believe in p3dm that might suggest at a future crow party member but jumpei in persona 3 reload also has a line where he mentions about aegis, and koromaru and mentions the idea of a gorilla persona user which may suggest a monkey mascot
DuskGolem only meant that it's not as abintiomated because Resident Evil Code Veronica and Zero are not as big games as 4 is. He clarified this again in a later post. He says that these games will still get the fantastic remake treatment like 4. Just not to the extent of 4 because it's a much bigger game than all the others.
IF it's shorter than 4 that will not be acceptable. They can readily add and restore the lost content that was cut of it makes sense to do so.I hope they don't cop out like they did in re3r.
RE9 needs the Death island protagonists and Billy Coen as playable characters, with Mia still involved to finish the Winters saga and have it take place after Village and before Shadows of Rose. And do RE0, CV, Survivor, Outbreak, RE5 and RE6 remakes before RE9.
Re4make was so overrated. Its a like for like remake of the original that didn't need it. RE2make & 3make were so much better. Seeing those game brought genuinely in to the 3d world was an amazing experience though I'm disappointed that so much was cut from 3. theres no need for this at all as every RE title benefits from a bigger story mode.
