METASHAPE VS 3D GAUSSIAN-SPLATTING+SuGaR 

I finally managed to obtain other results comparing the new methodologies for processing image datasets for photogrammetry !!
The study focuses on the problem of the reconstruction of large scale object in this example i tested the reconstruction of a large archeological Site in Albania called Byllis !!!
By comparison in the video you will see a single dataset processed with Agisoft Metashape and finally the hot new feature of recent months, Gaussian Splatting (with the addition of SuGaR: an extension for the creation of significantly cleaner and better meshes).
