I totally got sore feet during lock-down, even though I was not working at my retail job (i.e. standing all day). I was in bare- or sock-feet most of the time inside. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for the two videos on metatarsalgia home fixes you’ve uploaded. I’ve only just come across them today, but they are tremendously informative and helpful, particularly this one. I started doing the towel exercise, without a towel, just flexing my toes in the way you indicate while watching the video and I felt a good deal of relief immediately.
Such good advice. My pod has put a metatarsal bar on my orthotic. I can still feel inbetween my 2 toes burning when I walk on unstable ground. I m trying an extra piece on my insole to see if I can lift the foot. My hypermobile foot collapses into the forefoot. He didn’t t listen to me and now I have the worst forefoot pain
Thank you am gonna try this! A physio told me to just stretch my toes but nothing specific. The pain is lessened but still stiffness hipe these will help :)
Ah, finally someone who's talking about my problem. I have an itching along that east-west arch right where the toes meet the foot. Can't seem to get rid of it. Is this stress fractures? Is it just inflammation?
Hello , could you tell me if it is good to rub or massage the foot on the sore spot (The Metatarsalgia spot ) ? I bruised my little toe and therefore walked too little and now I suffer from that place you talk about . I keep getting cold feet because I also wear elastic stockings for my lipedema which makes the blood supply poor .. and my feet get cold. I am now in my 5th week after bruising and I try to walk again but then I always get problems with that part under my foot.
I have developed forefoot flat feet with Hallux valgus and got metatarsalgia symptoms under longest(second) toe 1 year ago. I started to doing such exercises. symptom goes and arch(both) lifted up. Now i don't have pain under longest toe, i can wear shoes without pain, but only zero drop shoes or with small heels, with good cushion. Now i have pain of metatarsalgia under the small toes, if i wear shoes with 10mm drop(from heel to metatarsals) or with low cushion on forefoot. I also notices that orthotics with cushion on forefoot and arch support helps to offload weight from forefoot and feel good with it. I visited doctor and he said that i need custom made orthotics or i can go on surgery "hyprocure". I will try custom made orthotics and see what happens.
It worked and after 2 years feet get much better with such workouts. Now i do those feet workout only 1 time in week, in morning. I use custom orthotics on some shoes but i also walk with some cushioned shoe without orthotics. I just try to be careful when i buy shoes. I always choose shoe which doesn't hurt feet. "New balance 530" with custom orthotics works best for me. @@saharsadrmajles8261
