Great video as always Shawn! And I just knew you'd be going home with that Conrail conductor's hat badge as soon as I saw it! Yes indeed, Conrail did handle transit operations for a short time, at least until NJ DOT could take it over completely. And if you're not careful transit operations might turn into another Conrail "rabbit hole" you'll find yourself running down! Thanks for posting!

Shawn, speaking of Conrail running passenger trains in New Jersey, they operated the Budd RDC cars on the Atlantic City Rail Line when the P-RSL quit. I think that's where my Conrail conductor badge and hat came from. Man, that's so many years ago. I'm the guy who got the NJ DOT to buy the line when the P-RSL abandoned it. Yes, I've been in this a long, long time. I just remembered I have one of those interior, reversible, on heavy duty plastic card stock signs that says SMOKING NO SMOKING with the Conrail emblem on both sides. They were on the Atlantic City Budd RDC cars.

I have a conrail conductor hat. Hard to find much conrail collectibles. I did see a guy at Amherst train show had some stuff but I was tapped out !

What's the story with that Shore Fast Line trolley model at 8:14 on the time bar. What company produced those models? I assume in O scale. Upon closer examination, the trolley poles are way out of proportion and the deck roof is incorrect. The cars had a railroad roof that curved down on the ends. I scratch built a car that is correct years ago. Probably why I never bought one of these cars when they came out.

Is that Chick-fil-A tank car a METCA exclusive?
