The Centaurus Alpha builds on our original Centaurus, which was based directly on the Klon Centaur, and adds our own personal modifications to really let the circuit shine with far more versatility and tonal range.
The Centaurus Alpha adds two primary changes to the original design; a controllable Clean gain and a Bass control. These two controls open up a huge array of new sounds in the circuit, including more volume and more gain on tap, along with much more refined tone shaping. We also refined the design in size, taking the enclosure down to just 2.5” wide by 4.5” tall, while maximizing board space with top mounted jacks.
Our Centaurus is the most affordable “Klone” out there - and is perfect for those looking for an exact version. For those that want more out of the design, we have the Centaurus Alpha - what we feel is the ultimate version of this circuit.
