I love how Simon is both angered by Larry's defeat, but also concerned for his well being afterward, seeing if he was okay. For crime lord, he was caring about his crew. What a big brother
It's funny that just when Digit's arm got better, he broke his arm all over again and even broke both arms, a leg, and his teeth from 1:53-2:07. I guess he was only hitting Meteor Man out of anger constantly whenever he broke a body part.
Despite it's corniness and stupid moments, I still like this movie, plus when you think about it, there aren't a lot of black or female superhero films (and most them are quiet horrible; Steel, Blankman, Spawn, Supergirl, Tank Girl). Also, while there are many black and female superheroes in films especially from the last decade, most aren't the protagonist/main hero of the film. So when I find a movie (prior to 2005) with 1 of these superheroes that's at least somewhat enjoyable to watch with a few good moments/ideas, I'll take what I can get. At the very least, this film is a guilty pleasure that I honestly hope gets a remake at some point.
