Meteorologists are facing harassment and death threats due to disinformation related to recent Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Matthew Cappuci, MyRadar meteorologist, spoke with NBC News' Gadi Schwartz about how these claims have gotten out of hand.

No one rational is saying they make hurricanes… People are saying that it’s possible that they strengthen them, steer them. Weather modification is something actively studied by our government. It’s not just plausible, it’s possible, and it’s happening on a small scale in certain areas already. Saudi Arabia for example. We got Harp over in Alaska, and then a government who lies 24/7 and doesn’t have our best interest at heart. But people are stupid if they even mention it’s a possibility 🤷. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I think the people who have their head buried in the sand, and think our government isn’t capable of doing stuff like this, are just as stupid as the people saying “ they’re making hurricanes “. Far too many “ conspiracy theories“ turn out to be true, or are at least based off some tangible, palpable evidence. There has been studies that say human intelligence has been declining. This seems to be another data point. Perhaps there should be minimal requirements to be American beyond mere existing. It's understandable that being a meteorologist is a career, job, occupation, etc . The increase in destructive, apocalyptic weather activities is making people wake up and doubt your scientific facts that are turning into meteorological theories. Your weather analysis is always straightforward based upon your findings. However when your life is constantly turned upside down because of the unusually high weather patterns and activity, you begin to question everything and everybody, including you , the meteoroligist

There are records of hurricanes, tornadoes and the destruction going back centuries. This info is available online and libraries. Meteorologists study earth's atmosphere and how it causes weather conditions. Educate yourselves.

That sounds like they heard something true, but it got warped in their heads. Or a "telephone" situation, where they heard it from someone who heard it from someone. For reference: Sunlight fades curtains (eventually), and the belly button is where babies were connected via the umbilical cord to the placenta (which is how they exchange gases & wastes via their mother while in the womb).

The MAJORITY of people don't like the TV meteorologists because of the over the top reporting and the hyperbole. Blaming the meteorologists for this bazaar weather like blaming a victim for a crime. However, there is a plethora of solid evidence that weather control is happening. The science of weather control (cloud seeding) has been used for decades. I am sure it has advanced dramatically from its earliest utilization. This year has been the most bazaar weather wise of any of the many decades of my life. I simply cannot ignore the evidence.

I do urge the readers to look up the machine that an Arab billionaire used in an area of the desert to make it rain. 100 years ago you'd be considered a nut for telling someone that you could create clean drinking water out of the air. But I have one of these fairly cheap machines the size of my coffee pot, that creates purified water from the humidity in the air.
