Method, u all just proved urself to be better than paragon, who subbed out so many, just to get in the druids, so that they can do enough dps, good job.
@Myralis There are many greeks in the guild, 6 or so core raiders. In this movie you can hear me (gamidi) and razielz (ashkandi) In the sinestra movie you can hear xabok (piece of cake).
@63517489 no video of Ensidias LK25 kill was ever released, further proving the fact they knew exactly what they were doing, deliberately exploiting to ignore the hardest part of the boss at the time, the valkyrs(dps requirements etc). class stacking is not an exploit.
@kenkomg It wasn't an exploit. They used the ability to their advantage. If blizzard didn't want them to use it they would have either A. Banned them. Or B. Hotfixed it between their attempts (they did this during Sinestra so not only is it possible but they do it.)
@Drooddood808 You're wrong, Paragon out-played and used a far more effective strategy. It's not cheating, it's using what you've been given and building the best configuration you can and executing it perfectly. I'm not saying Method's kill wasn't extremely impressive, but Paragon deserved world first simply because they killed the boss first without cheating / exploiting. No-one can disagree that Paragon are the best in the game.
the world first kill imo. paragon used the "bug" with the druids. they had about 40-50k dps because of the bleeding buff. know it is fixed. gz for the real world first kill method!
@rsdorg123 U will get a mc called "Domination". When the mc is gone and u have build up stacks ur next attack will be a 2000 % dmg hit :) So that why its so high.
@Nucleariasi That's a mechanic of the fight. There is part of the heroic fight (after you get mc'd) where your next hit does insanely high damage. Blizzard hadn't taken into account the scaling with rip and it's dot effect. Look up the fight on heroic and you'll see that what they did wasn't an exploit, they were just taking advantage of a part of the fight by stacking one particular class.
@ko300zx 10k dps difference of xaar from the pov's recount and then the final recount they show at the video and also if you saw they used 3 extra healers than us which makes things a lot easier
@joshparsons Yes they are actually, any *good* rogue eng used those bombs in 3.3, they were thrown as a filler when the rogue didn't have enough energy to perform an ability.
What addon does imsuperdw have to see the heals and etc on the sides? I'm a melee DPS and it's very hard to sometimes spot less visible AOE thrown down by bosses and such because of all the effects that are going up my screen.
@skiisgood I have seen a couple of members of paragon and I can say honestly they are by far WOW's most professional gamers/most skilled gamers in the word as a team (!)! They dont care about others opinion/fanboys/e-net drama, they are only here for the kills and work EXTREMELY well together as a team, this as a result of national coherence ofcourse. Paragon cleared Yogg+0 waaay faster before method and this fight is extremely unforgiven (Could only kill it after 1.5 months of trying!)
@tiedie001 It wasn't their fault, though, that was a mistake on Blizzard's part, and you can't really blame the guild for doing what they did. They were taking advantage of a game mechanic, but it wasn't really an exploit, otherwise Blizzard would have taken action against them.
Method gets 3 weeks of additional heroic gear on already excellently geared characters, while Paragon kills this boss with 5 man geared alts and 3 weeks less gear on their main raiders, yet Method wants to bash them, and try and claim theirs was somehow the only legitimate kill. Guaranteed overall raid damage was very similar. You should be thanking Paragon for getting fights like Al'Akir nerfed. You would still be struggling through them and not even working on Nefarian yet without them.
idd this can be acclaimed as world 1st. but do not accuse paragon of exploit cause they downed al'akir 25hc before last wednesday's hotfix, a boss that's was imo nearly impossible to kill.so respect should go to both guilds for an outstanding performance in tier 11. PSOFA GAMIDI EKLAPSA!
@ko300zx since you don't know anything about the encounter i forgive you for your ignorance but let me tell you that when you get mind controlled - you stop counting the rest of the raid member's dps on recount. So the dmg meters you see are totally false. As some1 else said tho - what you can obviously compare is the time it took to kill the boss from start to finish since its the same hp that you need to kill whatever you do...
@W00fImAD0g Actually no, I love Ensidia. Not Paragon, nor Method so I have no bias in what I'm saying. Paragon did nothing which Blizzard didn't set them up with, and anyway, Paragon killed Nefarian first after Blizz nerfed the rip mechanic. Also, "facts are facts"? Of course they are, what kind of statement is that? But I can and will argue, because I'm correct.
@zaleael Lol at your comment. They're just mad they didn't think of it first, as Blizz announced it was just a clever usage of game mechanics. I'm not a fanboy or any guild nor do I care that much about the game but it's the ignorance of people that makes me want to facepalm so hard.
1) The paragon kill was use of game mechanics. The "Mind controlled" buff was designed to stack to 2250% damage, so they used heavy dot classes which is not ANYTHING to do with an exploit. Blizzard infact have commended them for the kills. To top it all off Paragon have killed Nefarian 25 heroic since their first kill...Stop this self righteous bull crap over this game because you somehow feel hard done by a guild that used a mechanic. They said they could have used 11 locks too, and killed it.
man i was so happy with this video untill the end .. i would think that the top raiders in the world would talk better to each others ... is a shame i am so tire of ppl been meen in wow to the point that i wish my account would get super hack
@SpeedFragger Yeah except, it was 10, not counting sejta. And crits that high were only possible with (obviously) a crit and full combo points/trinkets. Paragon beat it fair and square, as did Method here. If Paragon had exploited, they would have been banned.
I'm surprised they brought warlocks here, seeing as pets don't gain the damage buff at all, we're completely raped by other classes. I'm currently ranked 12th for demo locks in this fight with 27.7k dps... The top damage in our raid for that parse? 40k, by a shadowpriest.
so because Paragon have druid alts available that means their kill isnt legit? catch a grip, you can see dots are still scaling ridiculously, maybe not to the proportion that rip was, but its still insane. Paragon were smart and used a tactic that was put in the game by Blizzard the only difference was that they had the druid alts/brains to use it, gz on your world 2nd Method
@MrIjijijijjiji & @Wowandflutter333 To clear things upa bout my post since you both failed to comprehend what i was saying, when paragon killed it they did NOT have the gear to kill it with a normal raid. They did what they had to do at the time to get the kill. Stack the best classes/specs for the encounter and that happened to be Druids. If method guild knew to to stack feral druids, they would have done the same fucking thing. Get over it, paragon killed it 20 days earlier then paragon.
"get ur facts straight before posting, method wouldn't have used that bug, since they didn't wanna kill the boss non-legit" get YOUR facts straight, paragons kill wasn't a bug, and it wasn't an abuse. At the point when paragon made their kill the buff increased your next moves damage. They used their brains and took classes that could do the most damage in a single move. There is no rule that says "your kill isn't legit if you take too many of 1 class" you can take 25 druids if you want.
