@@FishermensCorner there is no sabbath. You are a silly fool playing an asinine wannabe Jew religious game. You can’t produce one verse in the New Testament that describes a holy day for Christians. Go ahead, give it a try.
@@larrybedouin2921 there are fools born every minute of every day. Adventists search 👀 for village idiots in pathetic attempts to justify their heresy. Christians have known the biblical meaning of Mosaic law for 2,000 years. You play wannabe Jew because you are proud and egomaniacal. You think you are super spiritual juxtaposed with the unwashed heathen “ Sunday keepers.” You are disgusting.
@@Monjagetitonya you are ignorant. Jesus was always working like his father. Present biblical evidence Jesus observed Shabbat after his death, or sit down and shut up.
The sabbath Was instituted 2000 plus years before there was ever an Israelite people. Genesis 2:1-3 Exodus 20:8-11 is a reminder that points all the way back to creation week to remember and rest THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH
It's good to see this guy be honest about us needing to keep all of God's 10 Commandments. There is a huge blessing in Sabbath keeping on the 7th Day, Saturday, God's Holy Day. 🙏🏾😇🙌🏾🎊
God gave you insight… You are taking a stand alone and people we need to pray for this Pastor… I go to the seventh day Adventist, Church because they keep the sabbath…They are not a perfect people by all means just like everyone else in all the other churches. But the 10 Commandments do say to remember while everyone else is forgetting … How can we claim to follow Jesus when we can’t even follow his 10 Commandments
@@fallmax you are not a Christian. You are a religious game player. Shabbat was a shadow law for escaped Hebrew slaved. Here’s Paul wondering why you are so incredibly dense. “ You observe days and months and seasons and years! I am afraid I have labored over you in vain.” Note the inspired exclamation point in the text. Paul was emotional and he was frustrated. Repent and come to Jesus, and stop with your childish religious game playing.
I’ve enjoyed the blessings of the seventh-day Sabbath for almost 65 years. Never worked a single Sabbath in all that time. It’s a wonderful time of fellowship with God and fellow believers. It is my acknowledgment that God is my Creator and redeemer. I hope, brother, that you choose to adopt this practice into your life and reap the benefits. God will bless you for it.
Amen brother. Jesus is our perfect example in all things. He is the Lord of the Sabbath, the Lord's day. Please prayerfully study this my Sunday keeping brothers and sisters and put aside the tradition of men, indeed of the Roman church, and honour the Creator and Saviour each 7th day Sabbath in rest and worship.....🙏
Thank God for the honesty of this pastor. There are many pastors who know this fundamental truth (God's Sabbath is still the 7th day, never changed), but do not share it with others. All Christians need to research the origin of Sunday worship and, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, do what God commands.
@@bobbywashington2926 perhaps, but there are plenty of other Sabbath keeping denominations... whether it be on Saturday or sunday.... but you could definitely be alright
Observed the Sabbath for many years before ever hearing about the SDA. Nothing was ever entrusted to a relatively recent sect of Christianity and this myopic point of view may just be a brilliantly orchestrated trick of the adversary to lull one into a false sense of security. In peace, love and blessings.
God is pleased when we speak the truth. We worship on Sabbath Saturday because God has commanded us to do so. Because God never changes, His Sabbath also never changes Sunday worship is a commandment of Man Saturday worship is God's commandment It is upon you to choose but you cannot lie to God Sabbath does not belong to SDA's but God's people (Heb 4:9-10, Mark 2:27-28). Jesus keep the Sabbath as well (Luke 4:16) God loves those who obey Him and keep His commandments (1 Samuel 15:22, Revelation 14:12) In heaven and the new earth, we will keep the Sabbath (Isaiah 66:22-23)
Wonderful message. The one danger in the Sabbath/Sunday dialogue is how many believe that Sunday sacredness is vital the human survival, and that should events unfold where the LORD shows His displeasure over sin's advance of which we see a veritable tsunami today, some will insist that all men conform to Sunday to appease GOD. While all ignorant sins are covered by the righteousness of Christ (Nu.15:28), deliberate transgression calls for repentance & transformation through "the Spirit of Christ" whose Presence never leads away from truth, nor the love born of Heaven.
Catholicism hijacked Christianity, and Protestants followed. OT says I in the new earth God creates, His people will be coming to worship Him on the Sabbath. Isaiah 66:22
Isaiah 66: 22 “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. " So in Heaven we will all worship on The Sabbath? Or will we worship on Sunday? THe bible text seems to be very clear!
He’s dropping camel dung. The apostle Paul esteemed his past life law keeping , including Shabbat, your golden calf idol, to have the value of camel feces.
Followers of Jesus worship him every day of the week. The sabbath IS a relationship with the creator based on his work - not ours. Resting on one day each week can symbolize entering into rest. Before his incarnation, the living Word (see John 1) rested on the seventh day after creating life on this planet. (If he hadn't rested on the seventh day, the week would have six days.) After he redeemed Adam's rebellious race, the living Word rested again on that same seventh day (this time in a borrowed tomb). Resting on the day of the week he rested best symbolizes entering into HIS rest. The reality of entering into the Lord's rest is more important than the symbol but that doesn't mean the symbol is unimportant.
Isaiah clearly prophesied it in chapter 66. Talking about the NEW HEAVEN and NEW EARTH. All will still worship the Lord on the Sabbath day. Revelation 14:12 God's saints keeps God's commandments. Revelation 22:14,15 Those who will have the privilege to eat from the tree of life are those who keep God's cimmandments. But, outside are dogs... Jesus at the cross was surrounded by the people who hated Him. Psalms 22, a prophecy about Jesus, called them DOGS.
@markiibarayuga1777 indeed, though I think it's important to point out that keeping the Commandments is only done through us by the Holy Spirit and not by us.
It is not hard to keep the Sabbath. It is hard to change from your traditions. We do not need to confess our sins to man but to God because the text says that HE is able and just to forgibe ua our ains and cleanse us from unrighteasness. He talks aboit it being hard to keep the Sabbath but as Paul says we ought to obey God instead of man. With this sermon he may single handedly have condemned many to not make it to heaven if those people do not turn from the Sunday. While they dis not know thwy stood a good chance even though ignorance is not an answer for soing wrong. Lets pray they thus start being doers of the word and not just hearers because the time is at hand that you will jabe to choose for God or against him. He neglected to say that the Sunday worship is still following in Rome's (the Catholics) footsteps as they changed the Sabbath to Sunday worship.
You don't have to be an Adventist church member. You can be a Sabbath observer but don't assume to be righteous before God just because just because you observe that one law.
Jesus rested in the Tomb on the Sabbath. When Jesus was on the cross and he said it was finished that was on the 6th day and when it was finished he rested in the Tomb and then the work began again on the first day of the week. Go back to Genesis when God created in 6 days and rested on the seventh day and called it good on the 6th day and rested the seventh day. Don't be fooled.
Sabbath was never cancelled, it was fulfilled and nailed on the Cross. Did he not said 'He is the Lord of the Sabbath'? The Lord's Day was instituted by the Apostles which is the first day if the week as their day of worship (read Book of Acts) in commemoration of our Lord's Resurrection and it still is observed today. The New Covenant is about worship of our Lord and do not confuse the observance of the Sabbath and the the Christian worship on the Lord's Day. Sabbath was set aside as a day rest for the nation of Israel and was the sign of the Covenant God made with Israel but the Jews (rabbis and Pharisees) made the Sabbath as a burden to their people. Our Lord already summarised the Ten Commandments into Two; 1. Love the Lord your God, and 2. Love your neighbour as yourself, on those two Commandments hung all the laws as listed in the Old Testament. The New Covenant is following the Commands of Jesus as listed in the Four Gospels and the Epistles of the writers of the New Testament. We are saved by Grace of God through our faith not by works. So we worship on Sunday the Lord's Day in remembrance of our Lord Jesus' Resurrection.
The Lord of the Sabbath was Crucified on the Cross and Resurrected on the First day of the week. The New Covenant was ushered in on that day and we worship our Lord Jesus on that day. You want to stick to the Old Covenant and continue to follow what the Jews were told follow but failed, thats your choice. It will be decided on the Judgement Day by none other then Lord Jesus Christ because there is no Judge on earth to decide who is right on this issue so you worship on Saturdays as your Sabbath and leave us to worship our Lord on Sunday which is known as the Lord's Day according to the early Christians.
@danstenmou9913 yes Lord of creation, being the Lord of creation doesn't change creation... you can worship any day of the week, but there is one day that was created to be separate from the other days. It has nothing to do with the rituals associated with reconciling for sin. Wait till you find out that celebrating on the first day is a Jewish tradition that existed before the birth of Jesus... Havdalah... imagine that... this is why Sunday is considered kept on Saturday night by Catholics and orthodox.
@repairsolutions1559 it says it in the 4th commandment that the Strangers within the gates, the New Testament says that we are now grafted in, and Acts 15 confirms this by quoting Amos 9. It was established as moral in creation, not in the new testament, but we see it kept as commanded in Luke 23:56 and explicitly that it remains in Acts.
The new covenant was made for Israel & believing gentiles are grafted in with them. There’s several verses that Jesus talks about being cast away from Him due to lawlessness. Reading the OT is imperative to understanding the NT too.
@@-xyz-012 Yes gentiles were grafted in but gentiles were given some exceptions to the commandments the Jews had in the New Testament; to not burden them. Colossians 2:16 are the words of the ascended Christ spoken by man...Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days. This is a very powerful bible verse that trumps any assumption that gentiles must observe the sabbath now on earth.
@@repairsolutions1559 they weren't relieved of being moral... Acts 15:21, the Sabbath remains, in Colossians is not talking about working 6 days and resting, it says don't judge on what to eat or drink in regards to an appointed time...I'm actually giving a sermon on it this weekend...
Not exactly true. Acts 20:7 says : Now on the first day of the week, when the diciples came together to break bread, Paul ready to depart the next day ( 2nd day) spoke to them and continued his message untill midnight. Luke who wrote Acts, was a Jew and he should realy know what day of the week it was. The Jews were and are stil keepers of the sixth day. In the days of Jesus they on various times wanted to stone him to death for breaking the ''Sabath'"
Brush up on the Biblical covenants. The Decalogue was the literal words of the Sinai covenant given to the nation of Israel ALONE. The sabbath was a sign to set them apart from the heathen nations around them. The mosaic (old) covenant is obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). Christians are under the new covenant. Read Galatians, Hebrews, Acts 15. Paul wasn’t under the old covenant law and neither are we on this side of the cross (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).
@@ChandraJ650 acts 15 proves literally that the Sabbath remains, we see this in Acts 15:21. Sabbath was not part of the old covenant, it is part of creation, it is an important time that exists before sin, do not confuse morality with the ritualistic reconciliation laws that were given later.
Jesus was a Jew who was under the law. so yes HE observed to fulfill all scripture. Gentiles who are not under the law don't have to as Jesus is the True Sabbath rest for the people of God as HE commanded. Jesus commanded HE was greater than the Sabbath Matthew 12:8 and commanded HE was our rest. Matthew 11:28“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Paul said this Colossians 2:17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. I choose reality, you can too. You can walk out of this brainwashing cult and enjoy trusting in Jesus alone.
@@FishermensCorner Name calling, Adventists are so proficient at it after 180 years of practice. Ad hominem attacks don't mean anything. @FishermensCorner Keeping God's commandments is being obedient to his words, he says that if you love me, keep my commandments, so the question is do you love him?
