@@Enucentro nope. wotlk wasnt a grindfest of random quests in the open world. as far as i remember, the only thing apart from consumables farming (which still is present on the same lvl), was doing VoA for a shot at a tier piece. its like they decided that "hey, people want vanilla back" in legion, so they decided that they should add the shitty aspects of vanilla (the farming) and pretend thats what the people wants. nobody fucking likes artifact/azerite power farming, its complete bs. tbc/wotlk/cata/(mop?)/wod were times when the game werent a literal 9-5 job, so no, wow hasnt always been a bunch of chores lined up after eachother.

@@Enucentro Did you play wrath? If BfA didn't have AP and titanforging it would be much better grindwise. Argent Tournament and Scholozar grinds wete cosmetic grinds. Daily HC and other badge sources were nice ways to farm a little character power. But it all came from natural gameplay, not spamming islands, world quests etc.

Yes, he meant a hunter's pet will taunt. Since the boss was going to be enraged when they exited (500% damage to his normal autoattacks that usually two-shot a tank, or three-shot the MT bear), it meant that people will start to be oneshot one by one depending on their threat level. Fortunately, you can top aggro meters by taunting, and the first to be sacrificed were going to be hunter pets. It prolonged the struggle for a few more seconds and allowed the raid to dps that last percent of the boss after enrage hit. That is why Usso is considered a legend. He clawed that chance for his raid to win out of jaws of certain doom.

This is incorrect. Usso used distracting shot as a hunter and taunted the boss to hesself, and used deterrence for about 6 seconds of 100% parry rating. The general strategy on LK was to cross-taunt the boss until max DR, and just kite him while dps unloaded all they could for the last seconds of the fight. Hunter pets couldn't taunt raid bosses back then with their taunt ability.

@@IsmonHimoPKOwnage True... I remember when our main tank died at 12% and i did the same with the help of another hunter.. It was that magical distracting shot wich helped us killing LK with a dead Tank lol

Hunters used to have a taunting shot that would taunt the enemy for 6s, they aslo had a spell called "deterrence" which would give them 100% parry for 6s. So in dire situations, you could ask your hunts to use taunt shot followed by deterrence, which would allow them to "tank" the boss for 5-6s

@@danseeley6393 Valks are supposed to be there, they drop player when their health drops to 50%, valks are not supposed to be killed. I think you kill valks only on Normal, so that's the extend of your familiarity with mechanics.

The best build and not because "stackeddps". It is far from cheese strats, its simple use of classes to minimize LIMITED attempts and recover mistakes without wipe. So that was meta raid build, apart from the mage thing. Looking into it, both nihilum and SK gaming brought fury warriors into Subwell, Randolph and Romnie respectively. This comment gets dumber the more I look at it.
