The thing is, at some point, he had to want to live for himself, you know? Not just because of or for the fans. Not just for people that weren't there anymore when he switched his PC off. Having fans doesn't seem to be enough if you think of all the celebrity suicides, people with millions of fans and 'everything to live for'. Really sad.

@@TheSindara The thing with depression is that you look at the bad stuff mostly and ignore positve things. I think Oji was more going along the lines of outlining these positives rather than saying having fans is sufficient to live a happy life.

That point is relevant here because there's a sentiment wishing Reckful could see how sad people are now that he is gone, and expresssing how truly loved he was - all external factors which sadly aren't enough for many people in the 'celebrity' world (RU-vidrs included). Reckful was truly loved. He probably died not believing that for a second. Or it simply wasn't enough anyway. It's tragic.

I mean, he was good at WoW, but he missed lethal in hearthstone.

It's heartbreaking how someone can be so incredibly talented yet unhappy enough to take their own life. Really puts things into perspective and makes you ponder. I'm also not the type to mourn "internet celebrities" as I don't know them personally but with Reckful it does hit close to home with me for some reason. Humanity truely lost an amazing human being.

SyksWoW that is the most jewish thing that I heard throughout my whole life, but I wouldn't doubt it ...... sucks he was one of the best and it saddens me to know that he did it all for money and not for his fans or for fun because people liked to watch and hang out with this guy because he was cool, entertaining, and always talked to his watchers. On top of that he had a very nice quality stream that most people don't have.... #sadlife

Reading this discussion got me annoyed, you're both really stupid if you believe those screenies were not photoshopped. Reckful stopped streaming because he was bad at handling the criticism he kept getting from viewers. It's not that the general viewer was displeased but anyone who puts himself out as a public figure will always get hate directed toward them. He didn't like that and stopped streaming as much as he did previously.

He's been streaming hearthstone pretty consistently this past week, been very enjoyable, he's on a break from wow but he's been doing some real entertaining stuff on stream
