Just watched it - grea vid - and you deal with exactly what I'm struggling with: proportions. Do you also use a ruler for it? Or is it just guessing and putting lines constantly and just stop when you get it right? I use a ruler and calculate the scale etc etc, but then I seem be off quite a lot of times, but when I just sketch I get it móre right than whilst using a more precise method. This is weird, to say the least. It should be the other way around :p

I don't use a ruler. If anything, I would just use a ruler as a straight-edge and use it for "measuring" to figure out where things line up on my subject - for example, eyes lining up with the tops of the ears, etc. I sometimes use a plumb line or hold my pencil vertical to see how things line up in a vertical sense. So for proportions and things, I just keep lining things up in this manner until it is correct - or correct as possible. So it's mostly "guessing" or estimating in the beginning and then "measuring" or lining up after I've put some lines down. Hope that all makes sense.

It's actually on the iPad, so it's an app called Procreate for iPad. Pretty similar to photoshop and works well with it but is mainly for drawing or painting more than photo manipulation, etc.
