2 lessons I'd like to see you cover) 1. Foreshortening the arms and legs(and having the hands and feet the right size when foreshortening) 2. Using the Golden Ratio for drawing, like Stephen Silver does.
Please, never stop doing these videos. They are helping me so much to keep me motivated and finally start to improve my drawings. I never thought that I was good enough to start making my own drawings and your videos are making me believe I can actually do it, so thank you so so much!!
@@BradsArtSchool please Mr. Brad make more videos on this channel about learning how to draw please I really love when you eat something about drawing you are the great please reply me if you read this comment
I love these lessons. I expect a lot of myself so I get really frustrated with myself when I don't succeed on my first try, but if someone like you even has problems getting things (which I even see in your review videos) it's super reassuring that even I can get it. Two of the things I wish I would have learned more about while in school was drawing (for concept art) and color (for making more convincing scene composition). I'd like to see you cover some lighting, shading, and color in the future.
Dammnnn this was so easy to understand Brad!! I literally don't know why I just ignored this video even after it being in my subscription feed, but this was worth watching 😄
PLEAAAAASEEEE KEEP ThiS SERIES GOIIIIINGGGG, I've always loved to draw, but lately I was in a little bit of a creative work bump. I thought everything I did was garbage, so I decided to start learning some theory. I scrolled and watched many videos that made me feel overwhelmed over the huge universe of drawing but then I found this series and it has helped me so much!!!! I love it with all my heart! It's fun and makes this big concepts very friendly to learn!! Thank you so much for giving me back my drawing spark, I seriously needed it.
I’ve always struggled with perspective and a lot of art teachers explanations would confuse me even more. This video actually helped me understand better. It is still hard, but I’ve gotten way better by following the tips in your two perspective videos. It’s so nice finally understanding and seeing an improvement in my art. Thank you so much!!!
Brad is my favorite art teacher and he makes these vids really fun to watch! Hoping we still get new parts added to this series, I know he's busy with his main channel but I love this one too!
I want to become an architect so I have been watching these videos and waiting for more because its been helpful. As soon as I saw this video I have never clicked so fast.
You have got to be the BEST art teacher EVER!!! Your tips on drawing have been more helpful that a professional art teacher from a private school!!!! Where is the sign up sheet for your class!!!!
I can't thank you enough for these videos. I've always been creative and naturally pretty good at drawing but I've been trying to work up the motivation to learn how to properly draw for like 30 years, almost my entire life. But I always hated the technical stuff SO much. And it stopped me from getting truly good at art, and the stuff I did draw I struggled so so much to get the finished result. Now for the first time in my life I'm actually learning the basics because you've presented it in a way that I can digest and it doesn't make me want to die of boredom. I can't explain to you how much this means to me and how much I legitimately feel like this might be a turning point in my life. I know this is a super dramatic comment but it just really means a lot to me that someone out there cares enough to give the public free art lessons in a fun little way where you actually feel like you're part of a little class. For people like me with social anxiety and depression, this is kind of everything. Just...thank you.
I love how you are telling it alongside of story Loved drawing as a kid after all those years came back to it To learn more effectively for my psychology ba Those lecture slides can be really dull
This is so dope! I have watched almost all his videos without thinking I'm taking a usual art class or watching a art tutorial. It just feels natural to draw. And also the 3 students are my favorite
New subscriber, new artist, long time lover of most forms of Art. I love these classes you're doing. I hope you enjoy making them as much as we enjoy watching them!
I'm not sure I've ever commented on a youtube video before but these videos are incredible. You deserve far more views. I can't get over the fact that these videos are free

What a wonderful way to simplify things! I struggle SO MUCH with perspective, and this was a fun and entertaining way to refresh it for myself and my students. Thanks for making learning fun
Waiting for new video so much! Thank you for all your video guide for beginners. I learned a lot new thing. I’m finally can draw a lot things a I was dreaming about and thought I have no talent and will never draw them!
Brad you have read my mind! I was waiting for another episode and bam here we go. Looking foward to some shorts in the coming weeks. I can see your channel is gaining momentum with over 120k subs!
Usually I never comment but this time I just have to.. this tutorials are so great! I never seen anything this good for free!!! Keep up Brad and please post new video :DDDD
Using many of these videos to supplement classroom instruction. So impressed by their quality. Would love one that deals with light and shadow in order to model forms. Seems like an important concept still missing from the series.
Holy, I am on your last you tube video of this series and about to finish it, and I just realized that I bought some of your Udemy video there for Procreate a year ago but never got a chance to finished it. Thanks for this, making it more fun to watch which also encourage me to go back to watch the Procreate on Udemy. Keep up the great work Brad.

i was watching other videos on how to scale something in perspective and even though i DO understand how perspective works, i was having some trouble understanding this particular piece of information. i thought i was just dumb, but i came across your video and i realized i wasn't dumb, the people explaining in other videos were just bad teachers. so thank you so much for this! it was really, really helpful!
For the first time, I always see them putting a cross on a box, or cool-looking perspective circles. Now I see it with my own eyes on how to do it, this is such a fun and creative tutorial! Can't help but enjoy it as I learn, ur doing good Sir Brad!
Thank you for teaching us about drawing. It really makes my sketching easier and convenient than before and I learn a lot more things that helps with my drawing. I hope that you would create more videos. Thank you again and goodluck!!!
I'd love to see more detailed tutorials on the features of the face, like you mentioned potentially in the drawing faces for beginners video. Love this series so much!
Wow....!!!! What an amazing way to explain you have used! + Awesome Story and that sphere story thing... Just because of such tutorials, I chose not to give up on such boring and hard topic.
