Amazing! So many things. I’d love to know what season you’re going out and what you see at different times of year. The gear you chose and what makes it great. I loved hearing about the different species and ecosystems they’re a part of. It also was cool to hear about you talking about shot composition and lighting. Looking forward to the next one!
I’d love love love to see underwater at Point Lobos! I’ve hiked there so many times and it’s so gorgeous from the cliffs above, I hope to dive there in the next year or so
Pat, what an amazing idea and execution! I think you’re really setting a precedent here for a whole new type of video. You’ve got the exactly right knowledge, education skills, social awareness, humor and editing. So hyped to see where you take this.
Very inspiring. I love photography, videography, filmmaking you name it. But I also love the sea, and I was amazed by the Monterey aquarium a few years ago! I’m finally getting my open water certification next month! To say I can’t wait is an understatement.
@@underwaterpat I’m getting it in Ohio, so I’ll be doing the final dives in a quarry. Not quite like the pristine kelp forests, but that’ll be my next destination! 😊
Hey Pat, I moved to Hawaii couple of years ago and really miss diving in Monterey. This brings back a lot of good memories. Can’t wait for another episode. Thank you!!
@@underwaterpat they loved it! Alder kept asking what’s that? And Rowan kept saying what things were for him once you told him what they were 😂 as soon as it finished Rowan asked if we could watch it again
Thanks so much Annie! It’s not too bad but does get to be a bit exhausting, because you need the mask tight enough to not get too much water in around the mic, so your jaw gets a bit fatigued if you’re not adjusted right. Then you need to project a bit to get crisper audio, so you get a bit out of breath, hence extra breathing, because you also can’t take in too big of breaths otherwise your buoyancy goes all over!! The feeding show at the aquarium helped me out with the delivery a bunch
