Metro life flight delivered the game ball to Crestview Cougars Scott Bailey field Friday night (10/27/17) in honor of our First Responders night. One of Crestview’s own graduates brought the ball down, Matt Keppler class of 2000.
Its not the flight that is costly, its the care that is provided. That flight the hospital pays for, for community events (outreach) no different than the military
Also a flight that is not needed for transport is also a training a flight. It still uses all of their skills and training and is needed to keep hours and certs. So anytime the can fly is a good thing. And a helicopter like that usually only costs about 300-600 an hour. Like the other said. It’s the medical care that costs that much. Just like staying in a hotel room for 200 a night, is not the same as spending the night in a hospital. It’s still a room with a bed, but it’s what the room can do that costs the money.
