www.metrogradegoods.com The very first Metro Made instalment, the vlog for Metro Made Goods. In this episode, we tackle making a Metro Grade Goods Capuchin slingshot...in PLEXIGLASS. From scratch to polish, you'll see it here.
Nicely done, and great for anyone with a fabulous shop like yours. I'd love to see how someone without access to a shop could make an acceptable slingshot.
@@darylljimerson1406 garage sales, and flea markets even ebay. A brand new rasp can be pretty cheap in the right place but a new one isn't at all necessary. Coping saws are super cheap but a bit of ingenuity with a basic drill can do a good job of removing waste if you don't fancy buying one and everyone has a pencil already! :) tbf though, if your willing to put the effort in you can make fine slingshot with nothing a but a sharp knife, even a Stanley knife will do if you really put the time in. Get good at hand carving with a (properly) sharp knife and you wont even need to sand it!
I want one! I didn't know you made TTF frames. Those are my favorite at the moment :). Looks like an excellent design! And great work on the video! Josh
+adrian berdin Plexiglass is a stable material for making slingshot in certain thicknesses. This 3/4" thick board is strong, but it is definitely for experienced slingshooters.
Thanks Jerry. The slingshot in the video is for demo only, while it shoots fine and is safe, no one can predict what customers will do with it :) We have a whole selection of other slingshots and products here: www.metrogradegoods.com/shop

+Metal Detecting Canada and the Usa I don't make these for customers, they are for demo purposes only since acrylic isn't the best for making slingshots. While they are safe to use, any kind of fork hit by a user will result in it breaking off.
