ADAM telling Samus that this mission is a bad idea, Samus proceeding anyways, and it cutting the Samus unconscious with all of her upgrades gone has always been one of my favorite moments in the game.

It was so surreal seeing this for the first time, amazing feeling, the hype was unmatched. I was so happy. I can't wait until Metroid Prime 4 comes out so I can get that feeling of playing a new metroid game again.

i love how raven beak’s moveset in their intro battle are the same moves he uses in the final boss battle. superb continuity from the development team

i am a hugh metroid fan since i was a kid. (super metroid, metroid prime, metroid fusion etc.) metroid will always be in my heart. it tooks me through hard times. when dread came out and the intro started 0:25 to play i cried like a baby.

I got so excited and hyped when the intro recapped the events of fusion, it's one of my fav games of all time and im glad dread is such a good sequel to it

Something I like they did during the boss cutscenes, especially this one, is that they show you what the enemy’s abilities are and how to counter them if you watch closely

This is the first Metroid game where the final boss is also shown in the intro. They get right to establishing the villain, making one always on edge for when he might strike next. Even ADAM is on edge. The guy who makes a habit of making the hard choices doesn't think this is worth it. No wonder this game is called "Dread."

Have to say, I got chills when the first screen of the intro came on with the Theme of Samus music. I probably had it playing for at least 15 minutes, slowly going through the slides, before getting to the animated cutscene.

This scene is great after Metroid Samus returns. After looking at the Chozo memories; you see an evil Chozo kill all of the other Chozo. Then when this game starts, you’re face to face with him. It’s amazing!

When I first saw this I was confused about the federation hiring samus since fusion’s ending revealed they were corrupt as they wanted to weaponize the X parasites as well as cloned the baby metroid which led to samus ruining their schemes at the end of the game and that would cause the federation to see her as a fugitive

The X parasite returned in the post credits of Samus Returns 2017.

@@isaacrodriguez4773 but Samus returns takes place before fusion. Fusion happens as a direct result of Samus returns. The Metroid’s were created to destroy the x parasite and are its only predator so with them gone the x are now free to roam the planet without anybody stopping them.
