Note: Time invested is a bit more than what i invested in Super Metroid but took me 2 to 3 months longer than SM, i basically was on and off on this game, hard to ever decide to do a full stream of it, a miracle if i ever did another run after the first... until recently where the game started to grow on me and began to invest more on stream.
That said, i love the game, love adam.......nah heck adam, forced dialogues are trash, glad im done with this game XD
Rules for NO HIT are as follows:
1. Direct damage from enemy to your HP bar counts as a hit
2. Enemy grab counts as a hit even if it doesn't do damage
3. Staggers from enemies also count as a hit including AoE
4. Staggers from your own equipment DON'T count as a hit
5. Static or Dynamic Environmental damage doesn't count as a hit
6. Self hit or damage doesn't count as a hit including fall damage
7. Dead enemies that forces an animation on the player don't count as a hit
8. Dynamic Traps count as a hit but Static Traps don't
9. Physically Blocking counts as a hit
10. Deflect, Reflect, Counters or Parries doesn't count as a hit and are allowed, if it requires blocking first then is not allowed
11. Enemy hitting your barrier (meaning a shield that is not in contact with the player) doesn't count as a hit
12. Unavoidable CC or Damage by dev design (Scripted hits) wont count as a hit even if avoidable by unintended means
13. Hits on mini games don't count as a hit
14. Death counts as a hit unless scripted
15. Player deployable traps don't count as a hit.
16. Quit outs are forbidden when in combat
(you are in combat if you're attacking an enemy or the enemy is noticed you and/or is aggroed)
17. Soft cc doesn't count as a hit
18. An effect that procs on you wont count as a hit unless it cause hard cc or loss of health
19. AI partner's that take damage or Hard CC are immune from these rules and does not invalidate your run unless you fail the mission or get a game over
20. Positive engagements with the enemy doesn't count as a hit (like getting healed, etc.)
21. 100% Resistant to damage still counts as a hit (subject to change)
22. No Dodge chances are allowed
23. Dynamic Game Condition is a hit while static is not
24. Hyper armor with invincibility doesn't count as a hit
25. Desperation attack from the enemy after being killed will count as a hit be it damage or CC
26. Spawning or resetting enemies due to a save and quit, bonfire mechanic or similar feature does not invalidate a run and is not considered a loss of progress as long as the objective or progression is not reverted
27. The game reverting your progress to the start of an objective or a level due to a failed game condition is considered death therefore a hit

I actually did my own No Damage Run of Metroid Fusion, one that goes with minimalism which also makes JP Hard Mode's restrictions practically redundant, though I understand that you're working with non-segmented running, hence you wouldn't bother with the Secret Message Route for example. With that in mind, I can talk with you about a few points. About the big 4 bosses, I feel the 3rd phase of "Nightmare" the thing that has its backstory being "Samus owned it while deliberately holding back because of a stupid mechanic" can be manipulated with decent reliability to make him continually go around in circles while he keeps getting his face hit. I suppose that would be easy to forget during a long venture. I will say at least, however, that Barrier Core-X is dumb as sin with no explanation needed, Yakuza Elion's second phase has the problem of being luck-based on whether or not you get hit immediately even with optimal positioning, and Ridley Retinz is seemingly random for its own sake to detrimental effect because if he flies too low, he's going to corner you. In regard to the room at 1:22:14, I didn't know that you could just camp out at the alcove to eventually hit the Aqua Pirate with a second PB. I just opt to PB and then sneak past the Space/Aqua Pirate during their transformation transition.I can also agree about the room right afterward being scary just because of the second Space/Aqua Pirate being able to snipe the player from off-screen. Anyway, good to see this at least. And I can tell you that Pac-Man World Re-Pac is actually No Damage friendly too. Please let me know if you do a run of that or even the original Pac-Man World.

Well sadly the game cant be finished if you dont get hit by the omega metroid, if there was a way then i would choose not to get hit
