All the years I’ve been playing this game I’ve never seen or known for hyper mode to be used for invincibility purposes as shown on elysia. Thank you for putting me on game👌🏾😂
I know this is an old comment, but I want to point out that this speedrun skipped the trigger that makes hypermode overload, which prevents you from disabling it to get your energy back after about 8 seconds. A lot of the hypermode invincibility moments in the run are longer than that, so you'd probably have to vent the phazon to avoid instant game over.
They are basically saying they can't take female speed runners seriously, and that men are better speed runners. It also appears he is attempt to show that he is grinning all the while saying these things. I am only translating, Not stating my views. I don't care if you have a dick or vagina. It doesn't change how people play quality wise.

I Miss playing this so much. I used to play it so much but now I can't ;-;. I can still remember the first time I beat this on hypermode. But anyways, Amazing run and Awesome gameplay ^^.
Vaanmaru I wanted to know that. By the looks of it it follows the set corruption level for each seed, so when the player defeated the private home world first as an example it glitches out and it says 75% instead of 25% but that's my guess since i've never broke this game like this person has
The simple answers is NO. Game doesn't check how many you beats, it's only checked WICH ONE you just beat. So if you were doing to only do the final one, it will count as you beat all the other one and that one (essentialy skipping all the game because it's give you the thing you are supposed to have when getting to that boss)
How did you get ice missiles before Rundas? In your any%, I thought the programmers made ice doors have the same activation input as regular missile doors on Elysia and Pirate homeworld because you can't get there before killing Rundas (so you will certainly have ice missile by the time you get there) but you have ice missiles at 2:31:15. Does acquiring a beam upgrade or hypermissile automatically turn your regular missiles ice?
Early Elysia loses about 4 minutes in Elysia itself to do, but saves WAAAY more than that in Bryyo, as there's no need to visit it multiple times (once to complete it normally and once to collect all the items you missed the first time). Spider Ball is gotten early as the missiles in Steambot Barracks and Concourse Ventilation would otherwise require long backtracks later in the run, as well as saving a decent amount of time in Pirate Homeworld. Nova Beam is gotten early so you don't have to backtrack for the Ship Missile in Pirate Research's Processing Access.
I’m about to do this out of pure spite. The damn game asks you to “save your game to complete it”, and doesn’t even warn you twice that it will erase your file. What a piece of shit, I’ll show them!
I'm not sure if the uploader will read this, but a new glitch in this game has been discovered, if the Grapple Lasso is somehow skipped and obtained after acquiring the PED Suit, Samus will revert back to the Varia Suit after the cutscene.

As Samus enters her craft at 1:14:34 I finally caught sight of the secret of the nose. The "Metroid Prime Corruptions" title screen is in "plane" view at the triangular front of the craft. ;D 2:11:29 Haha what!?! I thought she *just* killed her evil twin, and already there's another!
she doesnt have hyperball. hyperball is needed to open that gate, so instead she is entered the room (while in the ship landing room i think) by going out of bounds, and is shooting the same phazon thingy over and over with hyperbeam to open the gate because that phazon thingy is destructible without hyperball when the game thinks you are in a different room? questions?
yeah its one of the only areas you'd actually want it so it seems, besides that bryyo is useless besides grapple beam in any %. ice missile doors are regular missile doors colored white on elysia and once you get charge missiles it gives you ice missiles anyways. and you can just grab a ship missile expansion whenever
The video came out 2 years ago. So I doubt you stated this correctly. If you mean the game, it came out in 2007. So unless you’re younger than 12 you were alive when it came out. I don’t understand why you think anyone cares though. I didn’t get announcing your young age when I was young, and I don’t get it now. You want a medal or something? 😂
