2001 space odissey!

Such a great video, I think it's about a man exploring the (alien) world of femininity through romance and his relationship to his mother. He left it when he left his mother and grows up to become a man, which we see in flashbacks, but rediscovers it through other women. And I think the religious iconography represents the worshiping of women through lust, love, and romance. It's cool!

Is anyone absolutely certain he says "I'm a Taurus"? What I hear Is.. "You're a novice, and I'm a tourist" 0:42 later..."You're a taurus, I'm aquarius." It makes way more sense this way, rather than him claiming to be a taurus and aquarius. And novice/tourist fits the theme of space exploration.

The style reminds me of those 80's and 90's sci-fi book cover art. It has a dated feel even though the techniques used for the video are modern updates of those used in that era! Ethereal and unique!

I got into Metronomy in around 2009, and absolutely loved The English Riviera, even more than Nights Out. I just hope Love Letters can be of the same quality, or even better! :) Joe Mount said it was his best ever work, so I'm so pumped to hear the rest of the album! :D
