The diversity of the band with the new bassist, and female drummer etc... makes them just more interesting, honestly.... I do, however, believe that the original bassist does still work with Metronomy, from time to time, to give them certain sounds... I gather that was his choice to leave, then, but he still can be heard in their new songs as well..
