Wow, I don’t even know what to say! This was Nuts with a capital N. These guys are absolute master musicians and have honestly created something very special here. And I haven’t even finished the album yet! I seriously can’t wait for next week to finish it finally. Wow.

the dance of eternity has 108 time signature changes and the song is about 6 minutes, you should also check out the live version man

Yeah Home is a Masterpiece and one of the greatest songs in history (Music side).. And The dance of eternity is like "showoff" instrumental you should do it live in a separate reaction Live at Boston opera house with the Master Mike Mangini at the drums

Nerdy fun fact, apparently bleak from Opeths bwp is inspired by Home, had no idea lol. Portnoy mentioned it in video where he was babbling about his record collection a year or so ago. (apparently they're somewhat buddies Mike and him) And yeah.. You can really only laugh at Dance, it's just geniously crafted. With that little breathing space at 25:16, before getting on it again. Exhaustingly exciting 👌 And that idea, write it down yo ✌

I think there are 2 good ways to do full album reaction, either in one big video, or split it to side A and side B, you know like it was back in the days with vinyl records :)

Yeah that is a good idea. The patron who requested this was doing it in parts for her monthly requests so I was just doing it that way for her. And my computer usually can’t handle rendering the big files anymore.😂😂

James voice is like creamy butter on the first two songs. "Through Her Eyes" was a little too melancholy for me but well done. "Home" was extremely good, not something I would listen to a lot but worth having in your library. "The Dance of Eternity" was not something I will listen to again. The free form randomness doesn't appeal to me since it seems like a lot of musical cuts spliced together. For me, an instrumental piece must have a defined movement and a sense of purpose, but I can see how it appeals to those who play instruments. Great reaction, keep rocking.

Still, I believe you're missing a lot, ignoring the story narrated in the lyrics. The feels in each song are strictly intertwined with the events (except DoE maybe). And there's a plot twist in the end. I understand you're focusing on the music, but just for your sake try and listen to it with the lyrics, starting from Metropolis pt 1 in the "Images and words" album, I think it's definitely worth it.

I will go back and look at the lyrics. And I will have them up for the final video. You are correct, I apologize for not having them up. Kinda need them to understand the story. It’s just hard to follow both at the same time.
