What a comeback for the Mets. I'm a Phillies fan and had this on and thought it was over, then came the 9th. As a sports fan, it's moments like these that show why you never quit, never give up.

Last year this would be an absolute and unbelievable miracle, this year it seems within the realm of possibility, my respect to the Mets!!

Unbelievable. Was on my shift so I couldnt watch the full game. Kept trying to see the mets hit. Gave up around the 7th inning. I comeback after my shift and I see were up 8-7. Bottom of the ninth. The GOOSEBUMPS I got people. Just amazing.

As a Mets fan, I don’t wanna jump the gun and get too excited, but this is beginning to feel like a special season 🤩

What a game! Gotta love this team. We’ve had a combined no-hitter, has a great 5 run inning to come back va the Cards in the 9th last week, & then topped it off with this amazing come back. It was great to see all the Mets fans there at the Phillies ballpark still there rooting them on as they witnessed this improbable comeback. It’s a great feeling but it’s still just 1 game. It’s still a long season even though a game or a series can set the tone for the teams. Let’s Go Mets!

I really thought this game was over when it was 7-0 Phillies, I spend most of the time watching the Rangers game, when I came back it was 7-4, I saw that amazing comeback by the Mets, I know it is really early in the season, this Mets team is cool to watch this season no matter what happened.

Buck Showalter really has a way to get his team not to give up. Honestly he had a good amount of comebacks when he coached for the Rangers and Orioles

I don't have a TV, so I follow my teams by gamecast or whatever. As I was following this game and saw the score was 7-1 going into the 9th, I remembered that in 1973, the Mets were in last place. They had a game with the Braves late in August where they were trailing 7-1, going into the 9th. They did the same thing, scoring 7 to win 8-7. I just had a feeling.

I've been a mets fan since I was 6 (1986), basically my whole life. I have never seen a 9th inning like that... ever. 7 runs on 29 pitches. This Mets team might just be for real

Simply amazing.....

This was of course one of the most dramatic comebacks in baseball history and it reminded me of Game 6 in 1986 against the Red Sox. 2 outs, and every Met that then stepped up to the plate had the mentality of not wanting to be the one to make the last out. That never give up attitude is what makes you win games and succeed no matter whether it's baseball or anything else in life. Still too early in the season and a long way to go but would be good to have another Subway Series come October.

Just stay healthy Mets …… this is turning into a magical season
