IMO that error he reached on should have also been a hit. The infield was playing in and that was a really tough play. 2nd baseman barely was able to get his glove on it.
One could also say they look like the '23 Phils so far. The Phils, a playoff team, started last season 3-6. On their way to 4-9. And even after they looked to have turned the season around getting to 15-13, they then had a six-game losing streak to fall back to 4 games under .500 after 34 games. They went on to finish the regular season with 90 wins. In other words, it is way too early to write a team off in my opinion.
As a yankees fan, im sorry for the season youre having mets fan, hope you get at least a couple wins this season. Well hey, look at the bright side! At least you guys are not 0-9 like the Marlins😂😂😂😂😂
It's probably because Steer plays in Cincinnati instead of one of the huge cities on a coast. Once he plays in Citibank Field, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium, etc., he will begin to get the attention he deserves, along with his teammates.
@@DaBlazesUSayI just looked up Steer's stats cause it felt like he hit a home run every game. It turns out, this man is the closest I've ever seen to a real life MLB road to the show character. His MLB debut was straight out of a videogame.
@@DaBlazesUSay I think the fact that Cincy also had two other strong rookies last season probably played a factor too in him getting lost a little in the clutter. De La Cruz especially soaked up a lot of attention at times. Steer certainly had a really good season last year and is off to an amazing start in '24. Looks to be a star in the making. The future is bright in Cincinnati.
Come on and beat the Mets, beat the Mets. Step right on and cream the Mets. Bring the kiddies and bring the wife. Garunteed to get a divorce that night. Because the Mets keep dropping the ball, dropping those pop ups like it’s nothing at all. Whether it’s East side or west side, ain’t nobody coming down to see the M E T S Mets! A New York clown. Oh the royals and the giants when they’re feeling down, where do they go? To be a the Mets! Oh the Yankees and St. Louis when they’re feeling down, where do they go. To beat the Mets!
The mets should trade Alonso, great player who deserves to play on a world series team, give this man his dues, HE DESERVES IT, THAT MAN IS A HALL OF FAMER NO DOUBT, BUT WITH THE METS, NO RINGS BUDDY, SORRY!
I’ve been a Mets fan all my life. I’m so disgusted with them. Not going to any games this year because the disappointment is incredible. I won’t even watch. Bats have been sleeping for years. WTH is going on?
Luis Guillorme how I FUCKIGN MISSS YOU!!!! Letting that man go for nothing was a HUGE mistake. He doesn't make that error that McNeil and Wendle made. Also tired of the BS of Wendle a better offensive player (really I cant really fu*king tell). I'm so disgusted by this team, and it's embarrassing. This team is about to give the Athletics Fan a run for their money......
You can't. He's one of the best players in MLB and you don't bench him over an 8-game slump. Nimmo and Lindor will hit as the season goes on. And Pete will get his HRs. You can't panic after 8 games with proven players.
