A large screen colour television set saved from a house clearance. Can I fix it? Maybe!
Had a dreadful short to begin with. Managed to very slowly and carefully bring the set up. Arcing issues with line output stage. Worried about tripler and loptx itself. Thankfully the cause was down to awful dust and grime.
Shorting cathode fully on shows a picture. Wonder what's causing that?
Never heard of the Metz brand before. Apparently it's German! Capri Color!
