Me and my cousins had a hard time figuring out how to beat mewtwo but then we found out we can freeze him so we got all the Pokémon that use ice beam and eventually this strategy worked we were down to our last Pokémon Lapras and using bubble beam to chip away at his health bar we finally beat him what a great childhood memory

i remember my strategy as a child was to spam ice punch with jinx until he freezes XD idk how my brother came up with that strategy but oh boy it works hehe
I managed to freeze him on my first playthrough… I was nervous after I heard all the hype on him, but when he got frozen on the first turn I was like “Well that settles that 😐”

bruh that sucks, my older brother sold a lot our games. Pokemon stadium and Pokemon stadium 2 got sold to gamestop. Later on my cousin sold my copy of pokemon crystal, sapphire and fire red for some weed.

What annoys me is that the Nintendo Switch Online version of this game doesn't allow you to use your own Pokemon in this but only rentals. Granted, it could be because of the tech involved, but it would have been nice if they had figured out how to get the original Game Boy games onto the online service or have the Game Boy games part of the Stadium game itself.
i prob play crystal next so i can make a team for stadium 2. Tbh i am kinda beating every single gen 1 game. I only have like pokemon snap, puzzle league , pinball, and hey you pikachu left lol. Maybe i should skip them
@@abran63 theorically its can because in gen 1 when you use explosion opponement def is hightly reduced,so didnt check but i can believe max dv electrod can os a Mewtwo ..though Golem should be a better user of this strategy since his attack is highter than electrod just need to make Mewtwo sleep before exploding
Mewtwo looking accurate. My lil cousin had it as a kid. Was planning on getting it myself on the Switch, but since Ninty decided to not rererelease gen1 on the Switch, I'll pass for now.
i remember beating it with rentals, i picked whatever could survive one hit and paralyze it, then dropped its defense with a blastoise's tail whip while its HP was still full so it couldn't Rest the paralysis off after its defense was lowered i brought exeggcute and onix to explode and deny it turns when it could attack or heal, and if it was still alive after all that, rhydon's earthquake would finish the job
Are you playing this on the switch and how are you able to make these teams transferring from Pokémon HOME or something? I gotta know this because I would love to get onto it, but I don’t know how we’re able to transfer a Pokémon if we don’t have the original software and shit, did they ever figure out a way to do it please I just got out of the stadium games

@@noticemeonii-chan5347 yes, N64 is the best way to play Pokemon Stadium if you also have a transfer pak and the original GB games. This is because the challenges in the cups are designed for you to use your own team that was catched in the GB cartridges. Using the bad rental pokemon the game gives you is an exercise of masochism 😄
