Mexborough Windhill Avenue - again 

I used to live in the house at the right hand end of row at 0.32 during my teenage years, brings some memories back.

I live on windhill and when I look theres just roads. Windhill avenue got destroyed and I'm conffused why? On Google earth the houses a still there

If you look on google maps you can see these houses as of 2009 when a lot of them were still occupied.

Are they still there, might have to pop up and have a look when I go through to see my mum next.

Why are they demolishing perfectly good houses?

prefab houses have only a 30 year life span & to keep them up will cost the council more in repairs so its cheaper & easyr to do major site clearance & build new ones
