The dark skinned dad always speaks Spanish. The other two primarily speak English, with some Spanish mixed in. I'm guessing the dark skinned one was born and raised in Mexico, while the other two are American-born, or at least came to the US at an early age.

He didn't mean that he needed a drink because it was spicy, he meant that he needed one because cheetos get all stuck between your teeth and gum up your mouth easily and he needs to wash his mouth out.

He's talking about the flavor of the chip, he's saying it tastes like some kind of Chile (serrano, which is a kind of pepper we use a lot in Mexican cuisine) mixed with something else, he said he liked it :)

It bothers me how they didn't explain to them the assignment. The last guy was rating based on spiciness (which makes sense) while the other two were rating it based on how much they liked it. Then the first one rated everything 8, and the second one went from 5s to 10s.

I wish we had Tapatío sauce here in Sweden... my very good American friend introduced me to said sauce when we visited them in the Midwest last year... I bought the biggest bottle I could find and brought it back to Sweden. Running low now. Darn. 😅

paqui ghost pepper chips in the black bag were the spiciest thing at walmart for a while. i can't find those chips anymore though. they disappeared soon after the one chip challenge started.

I'm not the best with spicy stuff but the hottest chips I had were some Devil ones from Thailand that had whatever dried chilis they use right in the bag. They came from one of those international snack subscription boxes 🥵

I would think that now days USA 🇺🇸 likes the spicy more than Mexico. I mean USA the ones making 50 different spicy chips , making the ghost peppers and scorpion peppers popular and making Carolina reaper and X peppers. Mexico still Serrano and habanero spicy. That's my thoughts anyway .

My spice tolerance peaks at a comfortable level of around the Trinidad Scorpion. I will push the boundaries and eat Carolina Reaper b/c I like the intense burn. My next thing is to try Pepper X, which I hear is spicier than the Reaper
