Trader Joe's is an American grocery store chain known for its unique selection of products. It offers a wide range of high-quality, and affordable food items, including fresh produce, frozen goods, and specialty items from around the world.
We asked the moms try Mexican food from Trader Joe's and let's just say, they were not very fond of some of those items. 😅 The mamahs had Trader Joe's Red Salsa Autentica, Pollo Asado Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Tamales, Vegan Enchilada Casserole, Chipotle Vegetable Quesadilla, Mini Chicken Tacos, Spanish Style Rice, Beef Birria.

Trader Joe's uses only salt as their natural preservatives. Probably the reason they felt the food was on the salty side. Felt the need to share that since they mentioned they could "smell the preservatives" in the food. Really enjoyed this video.

it’s hilarious to me when these ladies act all holier than thou about “their cuisine and culture” and shite on anything that wasn’t made in their home. I’m mexican, and love all the trader joe’s mexican inspired dishes and I love shopping there because I know the ingredients are quality with no preservatives or “chemicals” like they say. They also offer lots of cheap organic options. Sure some of the salsas aren’t as flavorful, but they can easily be juiced up by adding more salt or lemon at home. Also, can confirm that the birria is fantastic, and if you cook it down on the pan like you’re supposed to a lot of that salt cooks out.

I worked at Trader Joe’s for almost 15 years. My favorite product was the frozen chicken mole but of course, it got discontinued like all of my favorite products.
