This was the premiere of this song in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey. This was their first song in Spanish and was a rebuke of those people who criticized them for only singing in English. Malinchista is a pretty harsh criticism of a bunch of young girls just trying to play music the way they want.
Amusing that you say their Spanish sounds more natural. Their Mother had to help them with the grammar on this song. Pau has said that her vocabulary is better in English than Spanish. Awesome song by an awesome band!
There is only one other Spanish song. So far. It is called martirio, and will be on the new album. The rest... They rock in English. This song is a polite middle finger to all their critics, mostly from Mexico, who called them malinchista because they sing in English. They are very proud of their country and, frankly, their country should be proud of them. If you search "Martirio", you can find some videos of them performing it, last year. @@mirceatim3274 Recording sessions for the third album are fairly well along, but no idea on the release date. Aside from Martirio no new songs have been performed yet. That song I think was only performed in Argentina, and it may not have been in final form then. It's an excellent song but its hard to hear the details on the fan videos. I really hope it won't be too long before they tour the new album, but they are very safety conscious so don't want to play for crowds until things are OK.
@@markjames8664 They're are finished recording and are back home after doing post production stuff and Bassist(Ale) sponsors Spector signature bass photo shoot in New York. Album will come next year no date released yet . You can view video on there youtube channel of them coming home and also Ale's photoshoot.
Don't have to speak Spanish to understand that Pau is PISSED! She does the "Pau stare" over her kit then waves her fingers., DAMN .......... Martirio is another one only available in fan cam from the Power trio tour in Argentina in 2019, will be on their 3d album.

It's going to be hard to react to much more Spanish language music from them. This is it, currently. They have performed one other in concert, but it hasn't been recorded as yet. Rumor has it that it will be on the album they are currently recording.
Please, more The Warning reactions! Martirio is another Spanish record of theirs. But Animosity and Disciple are my favorites off the new EP; both English songs.

Yo prefiero escucharlas cantar en inglés, además ellas han dicho que les sale más natural componer y cantar en éste idioma, personalmente creo que eso les abrirá más puertas a nivel internacional.
El inglés es más práctico, en español muchas veces tienes q usar "el" "la" y Aceves se alarga una oración para decirla correctamente y eso en una canción rompe el ritmo, el inglés usa muchas contracciones y puedes decir más con menos palabras, en otras ocasiones no es necesario ni siquiera usar ciertas cosas q se usan en el Español, por esa razón es más práctico en la música usar el ingles y porque no decir q por lo general suena mejor. Cada idioma tiene lo suyo, pero en la música es obvio q lo practico del inglés y además de ser idioma universal y poder llegar a más público hace todo más fácil y beneficioso para los músicos, obvio, siempre y cuando dominen el idioma.

@@dapvnacion No sé menosprecia el Español, pero en este caso en particular a ellas se les facilita hacerlo en inglés, escuché su otra canción en español y no se, no me convenció mucho, narcisista si se escucha muy bien, pero hay q decir q en esa ocuparon ayuda de su mamá para perfeccionar la canción. He escuchado a Paulina q ellas constantemente están haciendo música y también la intentan hacer en español, obvio son más en inglés q en español y ya, talvez no se les da tan fácil hacer música en Español y no pueden hablar de todos los temas q ellas quieren tocar porque en español no les cuadra. Ahora, si su fama se va hasta arriba ya habrán hecho para la música en español más q un montón de bandas, pues en el siguiente disco van a meter probablemente Narcisista y Martirio y los angloparlantes escucharán esas canciones en Español, algo q no harían en otras circunstancias, así q por ambas partes se sale ganando.

😁😁 Nice choice. 😊 Unfortunately this is their only song in spanish so far. Though there is talk that the new album will include at least one more. In interviews they have stated that for them writing songs in english is more natural. All three of them speak english at native speaker level and most of the music that inspired them was in english, so it just came natuarlly to them to also write their songs in english. This is why some people in Mexico critizised them and this song here was their reaction to that critizism. I guess this is also why Pau (drums) looks so into it. It's personal... Keep it going! I'm psyched for more. Time to check out their origin I think. How about their cover of Enter Sandman? Or their most recent performance: Dull Knives from The Warning Cave (aka their home basement/studio). Since there are no live shows this year they also played an entire live stream concert from there with thousands people watching from all over the world. 😊

More like suggestions... 😅 Also I must admit that some other guys in The Warning Army know a hell of a lot more than I do ... so if there's ever conflicting information, feel free to trust them over me. Some of the guys have been following these girls for many years now. I'm a more recent fan though I try to educate myself further pretty much every day. 😅 Also it's hard to keep up with everything there is about them without speaking spanish, which I don't... 😥

Another great reaction bro,and like many other Warning fans,just had to subscribe to your channel (anyone who wants to listen to these girls is alright by me). But that Pau stare is what draws you into her whenever she plays. Also Ale's awesome bass in this just underpins this song. As other comments have already pointed out,you should check out their other Spanish sung song is "Matirio"and is a bit heavier,you'll like.
THIS was pretty cool 😎 ! I really loved the chorus , very catchy. ( Especially considering that I don't speak Spanish... I'm embarrassed because I have one daughter-in-law from Brazil and one from Peru/Venezuela. Between the two of them, they speak Portuguese, Spanish, English and German ! As a Mexican Rocker myself when I first heard the song I thought oh oh there is trouble at home (México). This was a classy way to say FU to their critics. Bravo!! They did this song because of negative reaction on social media to them only doing songs in English. I don't think you'll be hearing many more in Spanish any time soon. This was basically an FU to their detractors.
I think it "sounds natural" when they sing Spanish to you because that's what you're use to, for me it sounds perfectly natural when they sing English. As others have said they are singing to song as an answer to those who think they have to sing Spanish, as far as I'm concerned they don't have to do anything, they can sing in whatever language they want. They grew up speaking both languages and listen to a lot of English speaking bands so its not hard to see why they are singing in English. They've also added Japanese lyrics in one song, and I believe they like Kpop, so who knows what's next. Thank you for your reactions to The Warning, I've enjoyed you're input.

Something that just struck me (watching this tune for the 100th time; it's one of my favorites of theirs) is that, unlike any other live tune I've seen them perform... the lyrics are projected right behind them, larger than life. So there is absolutely _no_ mistaking what they are saying, no matter what sound system glitch, or imbalance, or perhaps even a sudden coughing fit or whatever else might happen. You can just *read* along if that happens. Given that this tune is basically a big upraised middle finger to the bitchy haters out there, I'm surprised I never really made that connection before... too busy just bopping along, I guess. 😋

As of now, the only other Spanish language song they've done publicly was Martirio, and it seems someone already posted a link to it below. That said, this song has become a crowd favorite over the last year or so! Even though they're fluent in Spanish and English, they were schooled at Liceo del Monterrey where a lot of the curriculum is in English, so when they wrote Narcisista and showed it to their Mom, she was like.. 'No no no, it doesn't make sense!' She helped them finish it out and get everything into context.😁 They were just sick and tired of certain people giving them crap about writing and performing only in English. So they wrote this song and basically told them.. you wanted a song in Spanish, well here you go pendejo!🤣 I live in a pretty much Latin influenced neighborhood here in New Mexico. and these young ladies remind me a LOT of some of the girls around here.😉 I DO know when a chica lays her work or a book or whatever down and proceeds to get *that* look in her eye and starts shaking her finger at you like Pau around 2:47, you better shut up and listen! These gals always give 110% in their performances, and it shows! Gracias hermano, you got a good ear for this, and these gals are headed for the stars!😍 🤘😎🤘
