Mexican Singer Vicente Fernandez Dies 

I've grown up with the Mexican community around me my entire life and thus Vicente Fernandez. Oh my God, I remember eating my favorite Mexican pizza 🍕 and listening to El Legendo on the radio at my friend Alonzo's house in 1987-88 when he was in his prime. What a time to be alive!

Farewell Fernandez! I discovered his music two years ago and just fell in love with all of it.

The legend cried two hours straight all memories of my mom blasting his music and watching his movies came rushing in . Was shocked it made me feel this way rip to a legend

Vicente Fernández Gómez who was a cultural icon, having recorded more than 50 albums and contributing to more than 30 films. His repertoire consisted of rancheras and other Mexican classics passed away on 12/12/21 at the age of 81. Fernández's work earned him three Grammy Awards and thirteen Grammy nominations, nine Latin Grammy Awards, fourteen Lo Nuestro Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He sold over 50 million copies worldwide, making him one of the best-selling regional Mexican artists of all time. In 2016, Fernández retired from performing live, although he continued to record and publish music. Fernández was an accomplished singer, actor, and film producer in a career that spanned over 60 years. One of the truly great entertainers of all time who will be sadly missed by his millions of fans worldwide.

Have checking on him since last night to find this morning he was gone….-after his son broke out during a concert…it was a red flag that this was to happen.RIP Vicente Fernandez
