Mexican White Rice | How to make the Perfect (and Easy) Rice
There is no excuse for not making the rice yourself. This is the easiest and fastest way, with the same result, rice that does not stick or beat, fluffy and delicious.

The perfect garnish for many Mexican dishes.
Ingredients: 4-6 servings
1 cup long white rice
2 cups of chicken broth or water
1 clove garlic
1/8 onion
1 cup frozen mixed greens
1/2 tsp chicken bouillon powder or 1 tsp (if the water is added instead of chicken broth)
3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
preparation:
Rinse the rice 2 or 3 times.
In a small pot with a thick bottom, heat the oil, and put the onion and garlic to fry, once it is fried, remove only the onion and garlic from the pot, over medium heat add the rice and stir it with a spoon until it starts to pop like popcorn (very weak sound) but without changing color, add the chicken broth or water, mix, add the chicken broth (if you added water instead of chicken broth, add 1 teaspoon of bouillon chicken), salt and mixed vegetables (frozen, canned or chopped raw).
Let the water reduce a little until you can see the rice, at that time cover and lower the heat to minimum heat for approximately 15 minutes without uncovering or until the rice is cooked, turn off the stove and let it rest covered for 10 more minutes.
