I've been learning and improving my Spanish for the past seven years. In the last year my Spanish has improved to the point where now native speakers will often confuse me as a Mexican! It's a huge accomplishment and I'm really proud of my level of Spanish. It's the most fun feeling when you're a gringo but can connect with Spanish speakers on a deeper level just because you speak Spanish.
