When dude asked if you were able to speak Spanish, you should've answered no and really messed him up... It's like when my students here in Korea gasp the first time I write something in Korean for English class. Or when they'd be amazed at my Korean level when all they heard me do was answer the phone and tell the person "No, (name of homeroom teacher) isn't here now." lol
