Rouphino came from Mexico with very little to his name. I got to visit his urban farm in Detroit and it was amazing. I met him at Eastern Market and we had a small conversation that led me to check out his farm. This place isn't only a beautiful spot in the community, it's a place his family and himself call home. I am really grateful that I got to spend some time speaking with him and visiting his urban farm in Detroit, Michigan.
