Best big buck content on RU-vid. Always enjoy Rusty’s narrative describing the different bucks. He has a genuine respect for all wildlife. Thanks for sharing these videos.
Hey Rusty! Always enjoy your videos. This is my second year in north Mexico. We are close to Hildago. I'm a little concerned about all the activity at our border these days but still looking forward to December. I will be down there for a month and one week. cant wait.
Love the country around Hidalgo. I'd much rather be on the Mexico side of the river than the Texas side.Hope you have a great season Been a lot of rain in your neighborhood. Good luck.
Yessir lots of rain early in the spring and some good rain late summer. Thanks for the encouragement about being on the other side of the river. It makes sense. You have a great season as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing the deer this year. And keep up the awesome work on your Louisiana farm. Nice place! @@farmandranchlife5075
Great seeing you pop up here. How goes things? You still hunting Mexico? Yep...come a long way over the years. First videos were on vhs tapes . Stop by for a visit sometime. Drinks on me.
We have about 25,000 acres under intense management comprised of both game fenced pastures and low fenced pastures. Our low fence country is roughly twice as big as the game fenced portions. All managed the same. All produce essentially identical results. The biggest difference is the low fenced country has cows, thus less grass, thus less fawn recruitment
@@farmandranchlife5075 Thanks for the response and information. I’ve always been curious as to what can be done with low fence vs high fence property. It’s always impressive to see what intense management can do on sizable low fence properties.
Thank you. Fun doing them. I use a Canon XA 30 though I just bought a Canon XA60. I mounted a Lavalier mic on it for in field conversations. The camera is mounted on a Manfrotto 503HDV liquid head tripod. I do note the stabilizer on todays cameras work fairly well for handheld video but I still much prefer using a triopod as it gives me a lot more flexibility.
