The "Mexican Pipeline" nomenclature has always bothered me, beginning in the late 1970's when I learned how to surf in La Jolla, Ca, heading to points in Baja and beyond regularly. I get the tubular similarity, but what makes Pipeline, Pipeline is the REEF! Puerto Escondido is decidedly a BEACH BREAK! Get a new name!
