@@ej7404 groove goes facing out, when putting bikini tops/fiberglass tops on they latch into the groove to secure them. Mirrors and other accessories also latch into the groove.
Hey Phil, had a question I wanted to run by you. I have a unique hood on my buggy (has a hood scoop) and the areas where we need to actually mount/bolt in the windshield brackets is rounded and not a straight edge/line like most buggies have. I’ve seen a picture of a guy putting a shim in between the hood and windshield frame for the same reason. Any info on this? Do you know of a workaround or where I can possibly buy shims for that? Thanks!
Aren't you supposed to fasten the hood to the fenders as well? Seems that with out fastening the hood to the fenders, a good blast of wind could fold the hood backwards, and good by hood, not to mention might be very dangerous.. No?
trust me the hood will not fly up it’s rounded in the front that stops it plus the dash frame is mounted to the body my next build will have a few more fasteners just to keep the flex out of it
