To be fair, while he was stalling for much of the much, I do think he won fairly. Roberto made so many tactical mistakes. He pulled guard out of frustration because Meyram was stalling but doing just enough on the feet to not get a penalty called on him and put Meyram exactly where he wanted to be; on top with no grips. Because of this Meyram forced him to turtle a few times and had some good pass attempts (nothing I would reward an advantage for but that's the weird thing about IBJJF advantages, they are very subjective, depends on the ref). Even if you take away advantages, Meyram controlled the pace of the fight and nullified everything Roberto was doing in the fight. Roberto was struggling to get anything going. A lame win for sure but a win nonetheless.
