A few things. Great review! Mine should be here in a couple of days. Mezco 1:12 unfortunately does not pair well with any other line. Death Dealer is a big dude. He should be towering over a lot of those other figures but Mezco is true 6 inch scale. Other lines are 6 1/2 or 7 or 6 3/4 etc. Mezco seem for me anyway only really work well with other Mezco figures. Death dealer works fantastic with Conan and once Soloman Kane comes the three will look epic together! I thought when I preordered him he was bit overpriced and after your review I still think he is. But I’m such a Frazetta fan that I needed this figure. I just think for 150 I would have liked just a little more. Conan was 90 and you get pretty much just as much. Honestly they should have just made a death dealer an even 180 to 200 and included his iconic horse. Also a non light up head would have been nice so he could look up and down properly and no butterfly means no epic positions of him two handing that axe like the classic painting. I’m nit picking I know. I’m still happy I bought one and it’s still a great figure. Thanks for the review.
Great review, I’ve been waiting for this figure. It’s simply one of the best looking figure. Well worth the wait. Mezco hit it out of the park with this guy.

Got him today, and he's pretty awesome! The light up eyes are a nice touch. Sits nicely on the McFarlane Roach horse. Still trying to figure out how to change his armor, and using 2 hands on the axe is tricky.
@@connerscott356 I did, but I don't know if I'll keep it there. You have to double the chain at the other side, and those little S Hooks are cumbersome. I'm super scared he's going to fall and they'll be lost.
@@damionblake95 ohhhhh double the chain or else it will be lopsided 👌. Ya ppl like to slam the door as hard as they can at my place. That's why I always have a stand to hold my figures on display.

Thank you, great review. The only thing that I don't like about the Mezco version is that Skeletor blue body. Also, when compared to Conan, DD's elbow joints look a bit ugly. (I wonder if an extra Conan body could be modified to take the Death Dealer head, and if the DD gear would fit on it as well.) Or maybe I could just use a Xesray gladiator body. (Or I guess I could just try painting it.)
As much as I love this figure seeing those double hinged arms makes me sad we didn’t get those for Conan; I know it was meant not to break the arm design too much but it could have been done to give the figure more range… I will take double hinged arms over butterfly joints anytime
I only collect dc but this figure is so tempting that I seriously considered breaking my code, literally craved…Thankfully for me, the after market price skyrocketed. Lobo and Hawkman from these conan and death dealer bodies btw…would be nice mezco..just saying.
Was waiting for this video to see if he got the double joints. I was debating switching out the body with one that does have double joints, but know I may not have to do that. I may end up using the mcfarlane roach horse for a mount as opposed to a mythic legions horse. I will say, either they changed the chest armor piece, or you have it on backwarda. The chest armor piece look different in the mezco listing images than what in your video. It looks like what you have in the front could actually be the backside, or they could just changed the armor all together, since they did change some things. The loincloth was suppose to dragon-scale armor, not chainmail, but I think the chainmail looks better.
I wish I hadn’t canceled right before the last push back. Cancelled right before they moved the final release date cause I had just moved n hadn’t gotten a job yet. Going to have trade for him, hopefully
