@@roninjimojisan2572 The pulp fictions were a great source of comfort for me when life got tough sometimes. I'd be in the back of a dusty old warehouse modified into an esoteric bookstore where I would spend hours just reading all my favorite sci-fi and pulp novel heroes and villains

When I first saw this fig I instantly thought it was a Hugh Jackman Van Helsing figure and was stoked... when I realized it wasn't that I wasn't disappointed, because I can still totally use it as that in a display. Also, it's kinda cool that Mezco is slowly giving us their own version of Pulp/Folk/Historical Icons to make a sort of alternate League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Solomone Kane, Captain Nemo, The Shadow, Dick Tracy, The Crow, Conan the Barbarian, The Mask... Now we need Buckaroo Bonzai, Darkman, The Phantom, The Rocketeer, Indiana Jones, Zorro, Tarzan, Green Hornet and Kato, Sherlock Holmes and Watson, Lone Ranger and Tonto, Doc Savage, Shaft, Buck Rogers, Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Pecos Bill, Robin Hood, William Wallace, King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, Achillies, Hercules, Musashi Miyamoto, Yip Man, Aladdin, Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts, Odysseus, Perseus, Icarus, Long John Silver, Black Beard, Al Capone, Three Stooges, Dr Jeckyl/Mister Hyde(although Theodore Sodcutter makes a great Mister Hyde), Jack the Ripper, Genghis Kahn, Vlad the Impaler/Count Dracula, Big Trouble in Little China's Jack Burton, and the list goes on and on... And I know Mezco isn't known for their female figures, but it'd be cool to see some historical female alternatives in the same vein like a Calamity Jane, Anne Bonny, Joan of Arc, Rosie the Riveter,(I know she's not real), Mulan, Queen Nefertiti/Cleopatra, Pocahontas, and more...
Feel like I've been waiting on this figure forever. Looks great. I'm a little concerned about tearing, flaking, and long term durability but time will tell. The Hellboy comparison was a great call. Love those figures. I plan on putting him with a bunch of monsters.

I got mine this week simply beautiful figure, Man after they do the Shadow and Dick Tracy which are on pre-order, I would love for the them to do Doc Savage and May be his Auto-Gyro ,The Green Hornet and Kato with the Black Beauty, do you have a review for the Hell boy’s I need to pick one up

I don't know something seems a little bit off it looks like every hair piece you exchange isn't looking flush enough and it gives off the appearance like he's wearing a wig.

Unfortunately this does not match the stories much. He was a puritan and did not let his hair woosh out like a pirate. His bearing and attitude was more cavalier not his look. He was extreme puritan
