@@davidmuller9938 ??????? Of course it's bad! In opera, you shouldn't sing nasal, you should sing with chiaroscuro, with squillo and dark vowels. And singing in the mask is bad, you should sing pharyngeally. The voice doesn't come from the nose, it comes from the vocal cords!
@@xxsaruman82xx87 singing in a mask is bad lol. singing ONLY in the mask is bad but for placement and projection the first thing you should learn singing in the mask. ut's obligated in classical singing and without that your voice will be destroyed very soon. great chest register also needed in singing but without singing in the mask you couldnt do a proper operatic performance
@@davidmuller9938 ALL her recordings are awful. She is the nasal queen. Listen to Simionato, Stignani or Barbieri to hear what a true mezzo sounds like.
Picture this: you are one if the greatest singers, your voice is of a real mezzo and then some youtubers argue that you ,,sing awful". If any of you what to be a singer, but scared of critics, remember that no matter how good you are, there are still some haters who think they know better.
Calla's is superp however not as pretty vocally, but remember Callas was a soprano. All the other interpretations are mostly mezzo" Elina Garanca is probabably the only one that come closest to Callas . XN in SF
Not as pretty? Horne is soooooo NASAL. Callas has 1000x the chest voice of Horne. Horne is also a soprano, and so is Garanca. Garanca and Horne are lightyears away from La Divina.
