Thank you Mal. I wanted a more aerodynamic body than this chassis series has in the kits. Luckily we can use every other body as long it's from Tamiya😉
Thanks a lot. I changed my schedule and put the first run before my building videos. So in a few days you'll see if I calculated my sgopping list right.
Hi Dirk, you have everything you need in that box to make this MF01X go fast! And the RC Birds racing livery will look fantastic on that Lotus body. Great choices my friend, now go fast and go straight! Good luck! :D
Hello Dirk, you have prepared yourself very well again. Your experience is immediately apparent. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished car. We are looking forward to a sporty and fair challenge. Greetings Andrea and Stephan
Nice load of stuff for the car Dirk! Personal recommendation, just stick with the foam tires! They will be better for grip than any regular rubber tire and won't swell up and do weird things while running!
Thanks Freddy. I had to add some extra parts. But all in all, this is a car, you can buy in the mroning and run it a few hours later (not taling about the body work)
This is a great example of German organisation and efficiency my friend..... Something your nation is renowned for, very impressive Dirk. I think you have clearly thought this all through right down to the finest detail mate. With preparation this comprehensive ,you are sure to do very well. Great work buddy. 😊 👍 👍 👍
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. And kind of saving money for shipping if I had to order parts later. To get international the body's British.😉 Beside all the preparation I might not be the fastes. But I had improved myself and still doing this and this is the main thing for me. Or maybe call it Hannibal syndrome: "I love it when a plan comes together"😁 Have a great week
@@RCBirds Oh yes mate.... It's certainly international alright! Just like this competition ,countries from all over uniting in their love of RC.....and making rc cars go fast! Hopefully we might be able to get a late entry in at some stage. 🤞 👍 👍 👍
Danke sehr Heiko. Glücklicherweise ist da auch viel Doppelgemoppel dabei und ich hatte bei dem Bau ein glückliches Händchen😁. Dir noch ein schönes Wochenende
Nice project, Dirk. You're approaching the 1k subs ✌ Can you please share the reference of the anti-scratch pad (at about 5:00) ? Curious to see how the Lotus will handle 👍 All the best 🤝
Wow!!!! You have me at a loss for words. You really have a great selection of upgrades for the Europa, can't wait to see the final build and run. I would just stick with the foam tires for the speed run portion. And use the other tires for the fun run. Good luck to you and the rest of the competitors.
Thank you Al. And just on the spot. I trusted Markus' recommendation, used the foams, got great results with them and I don't think I'll change them for this competition. 😁
Yeah, Dirk, welcome to the fun this year again! I already saw your photo of the Lotus, it looks great! It's a nice collection of hop-ups, I think your car will be great, I am looking forward to see it out on the asphalt where it belongs! 😉
Hi Dirk, oh wow! You’re serious about this competition! Lots of upgrades indeed, looks like you’re going to have a fully loaded MF-01X chassis with that wonderful aerodynamic Lotus body. My prediction for your first run….45mph….we’ll have to see 😉😎😉then you’ll be tweaking away to get to 50mph…again, we’ll have to see 😉😎😉best wishes to you and the family 🙏😎🙏
Thanks a lot John. Mathematical you've a good guess. You're really an experienced RCCarler👍 Hadn't run it on 100 %, yet. But I'm hoping to get the 50 on the next run.
Danke sehr Michi. Ein paar Dinge werden nicht benötigt (so wie mein Reifen-Overkill). Aber was tut man nicht Alles, um Porto zu sparen😁. Die besten Wünsche auch für Deine Läufe
Hey it looks like you have everything you need to get going in this contest. That body looks way too nice to be crashed in a speed run but I guess if you need to use a Tamiya body then it might as well be something cool. I've never had much joy with those cheap Chinese shocks. The springs are too hard and it's difficult to get them right. As this is an on road contest they might be ok though. Have fun with the build and good luck with the contest 😁👍
Thanks Pete. Until 75% throttle D/R no chrashes or take-offs, just running-outs into the grass beside the road.100% is planned for tomorrow. And you're right the describtion of the item was wrong. It said made for this chassis, but they're too long. I'll changed them to Tamiya's Super Mini CVAs. They do a great job. Have a great weekend my friend.
