Fantastic review/reaction. I’m a massive DOOM fan and the tribute that Black Thought and Danger Mouse paid to MF was touching. Also, fun fact…on the bar in which MF DOOM says “Danger make him groove off a glitch Makes your boo booty twitch and the crew rich, bitch Always wanted to say that” is a follow up to Madvillainys “Great Day” in which he says ” Last wish: I wish I had two more wishes And I wish they fixed the door to the matrix, there's mad glitches Spit so many verses sometimes my jaw twitches One thing this party could use is more... booze”

Nice reaction. Funny you mentioned the communication between artists. The Doom (RIP) verse pre-existed. BT developed his verse both to connect/complement and defer to Dooms greatness. BT: "They told me even when the record skip keep it rolling" Doom: "Danger make em groove off a glitch" - the record skipping is a glitch, but the best artists, and people from disenfranchised communities in general, keep it rolling and groovin....BT: "on his shoulder like a California Highway Patrolman" Doom: "Doom get rude with the dude off CHIPS...ohh Erik Estrata" - California Highway Patrolman (aka CHIPS as made famous by the show of the same name that Erik Estrata starred in) stay on the shoulder of the road, but artists and people from disenfranchised communities keep a chip on their shoulders and stay rude when they need to defend their own...a GOAT and the GOD operating on this track here 💯
