Pros. 1. The safety, starting from ADAS that prevents accidents happening in the 1st place to it's 5 star build in case it does. It also comes with an inbuilt jio esim that will call mg call centre incase of airbag deployment so that emergency assistance can be arranged. 2. After sales service is one of the best. 3. Feeling of in cabin luxury is 2 segments above. 4. German rivalling fit and finish including the paint thickness. 5. Only this car offers Adaptive cruise control at this price that even cars like fortuner which is 2.5 times more doesn't have. 6. Connected car has Jio sim inbuilt with 3yrs unlimited data included, this lets you stream unlimited music even without a phone or external data connection. After that it's a miniscule 1800 rs per annum. 7. Largest panaromic sunroof in its class. Cons- 1. Rear seat is not the most comfortable. 2. No diesel engines on offer. 3. No auto dimming irvm, ventilated seats, wireless charger and telescopic steering adjustment. 4. Mileage on the lower side due to the car being heavier that it's rivals. 5. 360 camera clarity is average at best.
Still 1. Auto dimming rear view mirror, 2. Ventilated seats, 3. nozzle spray issue, 4. Better sound system are key weak points in this Astor pricing 15-20 Lakhs.
@@nicholoschen Tata Altroz, Punch and many other cars with low price having NCAP ratings are more safe for family. ADAS astor still waiting for NCAP rating. On what basis you are claiming saftey for family?
@@YogeshKumar When you use it, It scattered the water all over sunroof and back glass during spray also outside glass -some vapours. Resulting in less spray on front glass.
While recording user reviews of a vehicle, I would suggest blurring out the registration plate of the vehicle in all shots, I hope you understand this.
Hello, thanks for the video. Can you please do a detailed video on astor manual, particularly on driving manners such as handling, steering feedback, etc and performance.
Sir I have been a big fan of your videos but this video truely seemed unworthy to be even made, I mean the owner owned a polo and she didn't mentioned at all about the difference she felt in the driving dynamics.. All throughout she was just talking about the features and tech, which almost all of them makes least sense in India, apart from the geo fence, which is indeed a useful feature. Also the panaromic blind covers won't just save you from the direct sunlight, cuz its semi transparent which in turn affects the AC cooling affect. Also, even if she owns the turbo variant, the turbo kicks in at around 3600 rpm, I mean come on, 3600rpm!! What's the point of the turbo?? Really practical features like, auto dimming ORVMs, cooled glove box, rear passenger lights are missing. The weirdest thing is that the touch screen infotainment screen doesn't has a BACK button, so if you want to go to one previous page, you just can't, you have to press the HOME button and start all over again. Really missed your typical way of reviewing cars and giving your opinions. There are many RU-vidrs who give car owner reviews and by looking at them, I really felt that this video wasn't just worth giving a watch. Sorry sir but really disappointed with this video😞
Hello ..even if you buy a car of 1 crore, you won't be happy with it. That's because, it's not because the car is bad but, your way of thinking. Ps: all cars have their pros and cons. People buy cars based on their requirements. There is not a single car that is perfect. If there is name it and I will tell you the negatives. So, the moral is look at life positively because, negatives can be overlooked. Specially, in this car.
Owner of 1.5 CVT top end just loving the car every day and the most favourite part abiut command is some commands 'WITHOUT sayin Hello astor like turn on ac , roll down drive windows etc not the tell me joke like etc In highway easily 16 17 , on daily mix drive getting 14 in tight city don't expecte more than 10 and this is not the car for city for kind info
Id love to see someone ask this AI to do something other than open sunroof. Something like 'turn on lane assist' or 'Find the route to the nearest petrol station'
Overall it's a great package of you buy base model. However thee seats have very less thigh support for front and rear as well, also the engine lags in 2nd gear. There is very less power and when it goes to approx 3000 rpm then you get power. I test drove for approx 10-15 km for 2 days.
First of all, girls' cars are cleaner than ours!!!😁😁😁😁 And Astor is really really an amazing car, those features aren't a gimmick when you use it regularly, you'll know how important that features are. And then when you switch to another car, it feels so incomplete in the same segment of cars. People talk about the power delivery but I don't need that robust pickup, cause I always drive the car under 80-90km/h max to max. It's decent driving, so the car is😁😁😁😁!!!
Asian brands are far away in safety, I own this car and it's amazing. Literally your chances of accident is reduced. It's high time we Indians start thinking from build quality perspective. I would really vouch for this product, in general go with a car which offers safety and better build quality.
I got my service recently. They have changed 2 lead wire and all 4 spark plug for my 4 cilinder santro. After this change i am not able to get milage more than 8-9 kmpl. Normally my car milage before servicing was 15-17 kmpl. Please help.
I have Astor Sharp MT , and literally this Robot is just good for Sunroof Commands , it doesn't get another commands so well , and then it irritated you. DefiNitely loaded with features , very comfortable but mileage sucks.
@@ranjithk9150 bro I own astor sharp Mt...and initially the car gave me 7km in city and not over 12 on highway...after 2nd tank full till now I am getting 12-14 in city and 17+ on highways. Keep the rpm below 2.0 and you'll get good mileage. To add no sudden speeding and sudden breaking...just drive on moderate speed. Highways even if you touch 90+ and maintain speed the mileage won't drop
@@avkraipur8680 I want an automatic and NA engine feels underpowered and with a CVT I am not sure. I was interested in turbo, does the mileage improve for turbo as well? NA underpowered, because I do lot of highway drives.
@@ranjithk9150 Milage is almost same for all variants of astor...doesn't make a lot of difference. Astor people think is underpowered but take my words it's really super ...you might find slight lagging initially but once the vehicle is on roll you'll enjoy the ride...fully equipped and under control at speed of 135 ....just tried once..if had more free highway I cold have reached 150 also...
@@trulymanjit I own manual sharp variant, initially for 1st 1.5k kms i got 6.5kmpl in city n 10kmpl in highway. But after 1.5k kms i got a hike to 12kmpl in city and 18.5kmpl in highway. By the way i stay in Bangalore and traffic here is very bad, considering this i am very happy with the mileage i am getting in my car.
Ek to pura hindi mein karo ya pura english mein ...ye hinglish notice ho rha the video mein . Waise pehli bar apke channel pe user review dekha ...change is good
This is the worst car among all models and all companies with respect to power. My cousin brother has done blender mistake by purchasing this car. It was not able to climb shopping mall parking area in Bangalore. I came back to basement then again climed with AC of. You can't overtake even auto some times. Useless car. Please don't look at features. I can say Alto is far better than this with respect to power. Mileage is 5-6 in city and 10-11 in highway. Friends my suggestion is not to by this car even it comes for free. I have bad experience
There are lots of things in the market that uses china made products in their products and it is selling in India. Also, MG is just owned by SAIC, MG is basically a British brand, That's why the Indian govt also approves them to do business here.
@@rajatbansal6716 EVEN RANGE ROVER AND JAGUAR ARE OWNED BY TATA, WE PROUDLY RECOGNISE THEM AS INDIAN RATHER THAN BRITISH BRAND. SAME WAY MG REVENUE IS EARNED AND USED BY SAIC, SO WHY DO WE DONT RECOGNISE IT AS CHINESE BRAND?
@@meetgala1131 Jaguar and Range Rover are not Indian brands and nobody with sense or knowledge recognize them as such. Asset ownership is vastly different from branding. Jaguar and Range Rover are innately British brands owned by Tata. Likewise MG is a British brand owned by the Chinese. Typing in caps won't change this fact.
@@gruntgobshite holding a company is different from asset acquisition. Tata holds both these companies. Similary SAIC holds MG. So MG cannot be called to be wholly british company. Whatever revenue earned by MG is contrilled by SAIC. Hence indirectly we r paying chinese to screw us.
