I would hope we would see the season 2 suits or the movie suits. It's not fair Setsuna get's all the love, leaving the rest of the team out in the cold. Would love to see an MG 0 Gundam or Reborns Gundam.
The runners are cut in a way that they may be able to release the Nadleeh as a separate kit at some point. I am hoping this is the case since I want to display both models, so buying just the Nadleeh at some point would be great.
@@ZakuAurelius damn that's actually interesting. I'd be up for an exclusive variant of the Nadleeh to stand beside my Virtue. It feels like a waste to only see one mode of the kit on a shelf when the other is also really well executed.
The FAZZ? I think the MG Alex 2.0 with its chobham armor was Bandai figuring out how to engineer the Virtue. Killing two birds with one stone. At least that’s how I see it.
I really do like the look of the Virtue. It manages to look like and absolute tank without just looking like a flying brick. It looks like *multiple* flying bricks slapped together over a Gundam frame and then given a bunch of big feck-off *cannons.* Because *guns.* I might need to get this kit, given that I've got the MG Dynames and I do think that the interactions between Tieria, Lockon, and Setsuna make the back half of Season 1 of 00 as strong as it is. Plus it just...looks awesome, and seems like an extremely fun build. Also I can't believe we got the additional figurine of him in the dress from that *one sequence* in Season 2, that's hilarious. That's almost as good as handing us the Cow in the MG Turn A.
I really like your new intro now, it gives me the visualisation for how big the kit is and its visual presence while holding it by another person at that view, this is one of the aspect I'm looking for, for a review
Thanks for making this review despite being rather far since this kit's release. 2nd gen 00 kits would be great, though considering how long it took to finish 1st gen and how few MGs get released at all recently, I doubt they'd do it. It'd be interesting to see the Seravee with a transforming backpack though. If ever they do another cycle of 00 kits though, I think the ones from the movie would be more interesting as MGs imo.
@@ZakuAurelius Yeah, as I was typing my comment I realized that you had a pretty busy time late last year. Thanks for still making the review and I hope you're getting settled in nicely in your new place!
cord and code have the same katakana characters so i understand the mistranslation. the same situation with the Lord Astray Omega where lord, load and road have the same katakana characters.
The no grade was pretty good , I think although I'd love 2 of the mg I'm gonna keep the one I buy in virtue form and modify and paint up the ng nadleeh and see if i can attach the mg rifle and shield to it.
I'm waiting on the transformation armor parts display to ship from my pre-order from USA Gundam Store, before I crack open this big boy. Love the chonky boi though.
I agree with you, I vastly prefer the Nadleeh's design and just don't need all the extras. I'm hoping that the Nadleeh will get its own release at some point, then I'll buy one.
Beautiful kit. But decal stickers are feeling so out of place on the CB Gundams because they are top secret and any kind of visable informations about the name destroys the feeling.
Depends on where you live, those that live in Singapore should get there in May 2022. Also MG virtue is last year kit with it being a normal release, totally different than a pbandai kit. Japan should already been/had getting them last month. US people just recently had a pretty fast and ok OOS (at least it wasn't a instant bot lock down like several other pbandai kits lately..I was able to preorder living in the states but I decided to skip it in favor of MGEX strike freedom) preorder in March and US people should be getting it in August.
@@ZakuAurelius yeah I think so. Protagonist suit that could take a shrunken version of the PG lighting system and a general redesign. Makes sense to me!
@@jonmallinson600 I think that ship has sailed. With MGEX, they want to focus on a central gimmick and another LED kit is too soon. I'm honestly expecting the next MGEX to be a transformer, possibly with spring-loaded features.
I think they could use the more stable GN frame for the exia 2.0 since the MS from season 1 basically have the same frame so I don’t know why they didn’t take the opportunity to do so. Do you think maybe bandai doesn’t care/listen to the community?
Thinking of painting this one, how's the clearance of the parts used to transform from Nadleeh to Virtue? Is it safe to play around, wiil it causes some scratches here and there?
Likely the two areas you'll want to be careful around are the V-fin and the GN Drive. The Virtue fin is basically slapped onto/around the Nadleeh fin, and the clearance there is pretty tight. The GN drive holds up the backpack, so there might be an issue with friction peeling if you swap often between the two. Other high-friction areas include the GN Field hatches and the GN Bazooka deployment mode, but those aren't likely to leave issues visible.
@@Slain087 Ah you're right, also the v-fins are in orange-ish yellow, those paints usually are not as durable as any other colours from my experience 😵 Alright, I will find a workaround, thank you for the information!
The Virtue is too blocky for my tastes, looks like a toy, while the Nadleeh is very barebones and uninteresting. The Dynames is really the only kit I'd buy from this range.
@@muisverriet I didnt said they are not fantastic . I said the extra parts make the box very big, and the shipping price extremely high. specially for people who lives in the third world . like me .
@@muisverriet extra INTERNAL parts that dont show up . They serve to make the model act like a toy , and make the content of the box 3 times bigger . Thats why I love the RE/100 line . No internal frame , and detailed exterior . :)
