Wonderful video and story Sir! 57 years ago, At the age of 15, my first car was a 1957 black MGA 1500 cc, and I must say that even back then it was a huge chick magnet. Once the starter went bad and a girl offered to push start it just for a spin in it. I have always regretted selling it.
Brings back wonderful memories of my TwinCam in my Graduate School days. It was colored British Racing Green, which looked Blue to me. ' Wish I had never given it up for Grad School.

I had the same thoughts. Here's another one: he's got vented damper caps on the carbs. Didn't they use "dustless" suction chambers on the early cars? Makes me wonder whether he's running super rich...
The 10:53 gear smash into the non synchronized 1st was a bit saddening. I’ve owned 22 MGA twin cams they’re interesting cars but as you mentioned it’s not easy to work on the accessories. Thanks for the video nice car
The twin cams were very troublesome hence the low number MG should ha e Sep t more time on the development of the engine but they give great preformce but at acost
Sadly from 2030 on all the combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one single station per city or county...allmost same story with the USA (califorina banns combustion cars from 2027 on and stops selling fuel...)
