MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka - UNBOXING and Review! 

The OG Sinanju Stein is maybe my favorite MG build to date. Will definitely be getting this, again, sometime in the future

I can’t believe it took this long to get color separated sleeves markings on a 1/100 kit.

Those old, flat beam axe effects kind of bum me out. Compare them to the effects from the RG and the difference is stark.

Finally, the perfect sinanju stein. But at what cost.... So many excess parts

I still have OG MG Ver Ka that I have not built yet. But this version is super kool. Love the part separations on the sleeves and chest. Similar to what bandai did with the shoulders of the RG EVA series. Plus water slides. Yeah!! 🤘

I picked this up at a con because I really enjoy the MG Sinanju kits. So I was excited when this was announced and the Sleeves markings were part separated.

Just built the OVA vers of the Full Frontal Sinanju, loved the build so much! Def been considering this Stein ver Ka for a while now… might have to pull the trigger

Stein Narrative (non-Ver Ka) comes with all the parts for the Stein Ver Ka (non-Narrative) beam rifle so you get both beam rifles. (Plus like 50% of a second Sinanju lol)

I got this back in August. The fact it has several different kits combined to make it gives me a few ideas for future projects.

if they made another MG Sinanju I guess it will be the "Weiss Sinanju" which is a Build Fighters variant, lol.

For the rifle, I used my pin vice to drill out the grooves so it is compatible with the pegs on the new hands. It ended up working out incredibly well and was very easy.

Looking at the different colored inner frame, I wonder if in-universe, the Sleeves mechanic actually sprayed Zoltan's Stein inner frame with a different color.

I'm right there with you on the articulated hands. They're not ideal, and honestly they diminish good kits like Jesta, which would have done fine with the GM Sniper II finger swaps. But it wouldn't be a big issue, if Bandai actually SUPPORTED aftermarket parts for 1/100 like they do for 1/144. The 1/144 Builders Parts ecosystem has multiple size options of hands to accommodate everything from Wing to Sazabi, and they're very easy to find. But, as per the usual Bandai strategy, 1/100 is neglected and the hands are relegated to single size options, which are often hard to find. I guess Bandai really is a job creator, because they help to boost the 3D printing industry by leaving so many gaps in 1/100 support.

Having built the original Sinanju Stein Ver KA, and not bothering with the Narrative version... just watching the unboxing and seeing the runners sold me on wanting to pick up this kit! SINANJU STEIN IS THE G.O.A.T. MOBILE SUIT DESIGN!

So I guess this one doesn't come with the original ver ka stein rifle that the narrative version came with as well

I'm always happy for a new MG but this feels so lazy compared to the recent masterpieces that were the Zeta and Narrative Ver.Ka.

But doesn't the box comes with all extra plastic that also came with the MG Narrative Sinanju Stein ? I mean, with this box, you get everything rendering all previous versions kindo obsolete.

When the Narrative ver was peak sinanju I added one to my backlog. I actually have little to no interest in the Ver.Ka since from what I heard the difference is minimal.

Is this the new studio? The light reflections while the model's on the turntable at the end are SO pretty...

I'd love a MGEX Sinanju. EX point could be Extreme Color separation and Open hatches.

Can you build this as the unicorn sinanju stein?

The head looks kinda like Space Marine from 40K. Would be funny if someone painted the kit like a Space Marine.

This is in my opinion a near perfect master grade. As a guy who defends the articulated hands a lot, the smooth brown plastic does not do it favours. The hands have a very low durability compared to the 3.0 hands in grey. Also the PRICE. You pay a lot extra over the original Sinanju for so many unused parts. I don't think any kit has as many leftover parts as this guy. Not even the Psycho Zaku.

I like the OG better because it doesn't have the Zeon motifs. I find them a bit silly on a robot. At the same time, I prefer the new weapons and shield, hehehe.

Does it have the same hip joint issue that the Sinanju OVA has?
